About this hotel
General information
Royal Mansour Casablanca occupies a modernist 1950s tower in the city centre, among the Art Deco streets near the port. Designed by the architect Emile Duhon, the building has been a hotel since 1953, and its interiors now reinterpret the spirit of that era: monumental lighting in the lobby, vintage accents, modern art and warm, restrained tones.
The 149 rooms and suites fill the upper floors of the tower, with views over the White City and the Atlantic. Five restaurants and bars are spread across different levels, along with a spa of more than 2,500 m² with hammams and Le Salon barbier, a men's grooming salon on the 20th floor. Concierges, butlers and housekeepers look after guests, and lounges and ballrooms host private events.
Location
The hotel stands in the centre of Casablanca between the port and the old medina, which is within walking distance. The upper floors look out to the ocean and the great mosque on the ocean. Transfers from Casablanca airport are arranged by the hotel.
Spa
The 2,510 m² spa occupies the fourth and fifth floors. It has seven treatment rooms, a spa suite, a hair and beauty salon and two white-marble hammams — one for women, one for men — with two steam rooms and a cold plunge pool. Signature 75-minute hammam rituals are built around Moroccan ingredients: Atlas clay with lavender and holy basil, saffron with orange-blossom honey and argan oil, or argan powder with rose water, while the classic rituals use the Moroccan marocMaroc range. Face and body treatments draw on Subtle Energies, Bellefontaine, Proverb and Leonor Greyl, and wellness consultants put together personal programmes.
Sports & leisure
The daylit gym on the fifth floor has areas for strength, cardio and recovery, equipped with dumbbells, treadmills, cross-trainers, rowing machines and pull-up stations. Group classes, yoga, Pilates and stretching are offered, and personal trainers design individual programmes. The concierges arrange private experiences in and around the city: a flight over Casablanca in a vintage-style plane or a trial flying lesson, a surf session at Dar Bouazza beach, shopping among artisans' workshops and local designers' boutiques, street-art walks through the old medina, the Corniche and Anfa, food tours of the central markets and the Habous district, and day trips to Rabat and the Oualidia lagoon.
Restaurants & bars
Five restaurants and bars range from a French brasserie to panoramic dining rooms on the 23rd floor.
- La Brasserie — French brasserie for lunch and late dinner
- La Grande Table Marocaine — Moroccan cooking and seafood on the 23rd floor, looking over the old medina and the ocean, with two private dining rooms
- Le Sushi Bar — Japanese cuisine and sushi prepared in front of guests beneath a cherry-blossom chandelier
- Le Rooftop — 23rd-floor restaurant with a planted terrace and cocktail bar, serving Mediterranean dishes with Levantine, Italian and Asian touches from breakfast to dinner, plus Sunday brunch and DJ evenings
- The Bar — 1950s-style bar with frescoes, wood and brass, signature cocktails and light bites, and a cigar bar in a hidden stone-vaulted cellar below
Swimming
The spa has a counter-current pool kept at 29 °C, for swimming against an adjustable current or simply unwinding, and the hammam area adds a cold plunge pool.
