About this hotel
General information
The hotel steps down a hillside towards the Atlantic on the Ain Diab corniche, a few minutes from the centre of Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Its U-shaped building wraps around a landscaped pool garden, giving the place a resort mood in the middle of the city, while rooms and public spaces look out over the ocean.
There are 184 rooms, 29 of them suites, and many have a private balcony – rare in Casablanca. Interiors are contemporary but rooted in Moroccan motifs: marble floors, dark timber, fabrics in the colours of traditional mosaic tilework, carved wooden screens and brass, all set in a natural palette touched with gold. The highlights are a 700 m² spa, a heated pool open all year and three restaurants and lounges, several of them facing the sea.
Location
The hotel sits on the Ain Diab corniche, between the Atlantic and the residential Anfa district with its villas and cafés, with views along the coast to the century-old El Hank lighthouse. The city centre is about ten minutes away, with the Anfaplace shopping centre, the business district and the great mosque on the ocean close by, and the Habous quarter and its old medina within half an hour. Casablanca airport is 38 km away, about 45 minutes by car; the concierge arranges private car or limousine transfers and airport fast-track.
Spa
Le Spa covers 700 m² with ten treatment rooms, including two generous couples’ suites in tile and stone with side-by-side tables and a private hammam. The men’s and women’s areas each have heated whirlpools, experience showers and saunas, and there is also a steam room, an infrared sauna and two balneotherapy pools filled with mineral-rich water. The menu centres on hammam rituals drawn from ancestral Moroccan traditions, among them the signature Ancestral Bath with natural products, alongside massages, body wraps and facials such as the Marine Mineral Facial with seaweed and spirulina; products are by Sodashi and Maison d’Asa. The Angel Institut salon takes care of hair, hands and feet.
Sports & leisure
The 172 m² gym is open around the clock, with cardio and strength equipment, daily group classes and certified trainers for one-to-one sessions, yoga and Pilates. The hotel runs Moroccan cooking classes and an argan oil and amlou masterclass, packs picnic baskets for the dune by the beach and sets up sunset dinners on the pool terrace. The concierge arranges city tours of Casablanca, visits to the great mosque on the ocean and to a long-established patisserie in the Habous quarter, and day trips to Marrakech and Rabat. Ten golf courses lie within an hour’s drive.
For children
The spa has a dedicated treatment menu for children and teenagers.
Restaurants & bars
Three restaurants and lounges are backed by 24-hour in-room dining.
- Mint – lobby lounge modelled on a Moroccan salon, with arabesques and copper details, serving a menu that blends French and Moroccan cooking, plus afternoon tea with scones, finger sandwiches and pastries
- Bleu – fifth-floor breakfast restaurant with a terrace over the Atlantic coastline, offering a cold buffet and à la carte dishes amid curved walls and a ceramic shell mural
- Kyúb – open-air restaurant on the pool terrace, cooking coastal and Latin-inspired dishes with fresh seafood, ceviche and local produce
Swimming
The heated 149 m² outdoor pool is open all year and framed by lush landscaped gardens, with five private cabanas where fruit skewers, sorbets and iced teas are served. The hotel stands right above the corniche beach, and picnic baskets can be taken down to the sand dune by the sea.
