General information
Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort occupies a four-hectare green peninsula on the Monaco seafront, a few minutes from Place du Casino and beside the Sporting Monte-Carlo. It is the most relaxed of the principality’s grand addresses: a contemporary resort of gardens, waterfalls, sun terraces, indoor and outdoor pools and a turquoise lagoon with a sandy bottom — by the hotel’s account the only one of its kind in Europe. All 332 rooms and suites have terraces, and three quarters of them face the sea.
The kitchens are led by Marcel Ravin, whose Blue Bay holds two Michelin stars for cooking that links his native Martinique with the Mediterranean, while the bistronomic L’Orange Verte shows a lighter side of the same hand. The Blue Gin lounge bar opens straight onto the sea, the SPA Clarins & myBlend brings two beauty houses together, and in summer the hotel pontoon is the base for water sports. The hotel is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
Location
The resort stands on Avenue Princesse Grace in Monte-Carlo, next to the Sporting Monte-Carlo and the Larvotto marine reserve and a few minutes from Place du Casino. Nice Côte d’Azur airport is about 30 km away — roughly half an hour by car or seven minutes by helicopter — and the hotel arranges limousine and helicopter transfers.
Spa
SPA Clarins & myBlend pairs the beauty house Clarins with myBlend, the bespoke skincare line created by Dr Olivier Courtin. Alongside a hammam and a sauna, the menu runs from Clarins massages and hair and scalp rituals to myBlend facials and targeted beauty-tech protocols. The spa is open daily, and the hotel also has a hair salon.
Sports & leisure
Pools are the heart of resort life: a covered pool with jacuzzis set in a tropical garden opens onto an outdoor infinity pool, both heated to 28°C all year. The gym has Technogym cardio machines and a weights bench, and the indoor pool hosts aquagym classes (free for guests), aquabike sessions and swimming lessons. From May to the end of September the hotel pontoon offers parasailing, jet skiing, wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing, e-foiling and boat hire. Guests also enjoy preferential access to the Monte-Carlo Country Club and the Monte-Carlo Golf Club, free entry to the Casino de Monte-Carlo and cookery lessons with the Michelin-starred chef.
For children
Babies up to three find a wooden cot, changing mat and baby bath in the room, and children aged 4–6 an extra bed with a safety rail and child-sized amenities. Breakfast includes a dedicated children’s buffet, and L’Orange Verte and room service have children’s menus. The seasonal Monte-Carlo Kids Club by Petit VIP is for young hotel guests aged 4–12, with circus, magic, water games and evening events.
Restaurants & bars
Marcel Ravin’s style runs through the whole resort, from a two-star dining room to a relaxed bistro open from morning to night.

Swimming
From May to September the sandy-bottomed lagoon, with its waterfalls, serves as the resort’s beach; loungers and the private Cocoon Bay and VIP Corner areas can be reserved. The Sea Bay area gives direct access to the sea and the protected waters of the Larvotto marine reserve.
Pets
One dog of up to 15 kg is accepted per room for a daily supplement. Dogs are allowed at L’Orange Verte, but not at Blue Bay, Las Brisas or Blue Gin.
Rooms
The 332 rooms and suites are decorated in a warm, contemporary Mediterranean style; every one has a terrace, 75% face the sea, and the collection is topped by the Diamond Suite Eleven on the eleventh floor, reached by a private escalator. Some rooms are adapted for guests with reduced mobility.
Rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi, with cots and connecting rooms available on request.
