General information
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is carved into the cliffs of Pedregal mountain at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortés. Guests reach the 24-acre resort through Dos Mares, a private tunnel bored through the mountain, emerging onto terraces above the ocean.
There are 112 rooms and suites, along with casitas, villas, beachfront suites and private homes. Every unit has its own plunge pool and an ocean-view terrace; a bottle of premium tequila awaits on arrival, a personal concierge handles the details of each stay, and villas, casitas and beachfront suites add a butler. The resort is known for cooking rooted in Mexican heritage, a spa shaped by the lunar cycle and tastings of agave spirits and champagne.
Location
The resort lies in the Pedregal area, a few minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Private transfers from San José del Cabo International Airport or Cabo San Lucas’s private airfield are arranged by the personal concierge.
Spa
Waldorf Astoria Spa, at the heart of the resort, draws on Baja’s healing culture, the phases of the moon and curanderismo, Mexican folk healing. Its wet-area grottos hold steam rooms, saunas, ice rooms and whirlpools with local herbal remedies, and the treatment rooms open directly onto a saltwater meditation pool. Signatures include four moon-phase rituals combining scrubs, wraps and massage, and Intention, which pairs energy cleansing with craniosacral therapy and a Mexican folk massage; a salon completes the offer.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre looks over the marina and the Sea of Cortés; yoga classes are complimentary, personal training is available and two tennis courts come with a resident pro. The concierge arranges panga reef cruises, surf lessons, breakfast on the resort’s private yacht, farm-to-table lunches in Todos Santos, whale watching from December to April, swimming with whale sharks, ATV tours of the desert and mountains, and tequila and mezcal tastings.
For children
Tortugitas Kids Club runs half-day, full-day and evening programmes with scavenger hunts, sandcastle building, language lessons and cultural activities. There is a zero-edge children’s pool, cots and babysitting, and The Beach Club menu is built for the whole family.

Swimming
By the beach there are two infinity pools, a saltwater relaxation pool and a zero-edge children’s pool, split between family-friendly and adults-only areas. Every room, suite and villa has its own plunge pool, and the beach club sits right on the ocean shore.
