General information
The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort spreads across some 9 hectares of tropical gardens on the Punta Mita peninsula, above a long Pacific beach on the Riviera Nayarit. Its architecture and interiors draw on Mexican art and the spirit of the old haciendas, with pieces from local workshops and handcrafted furniture in the rooms, and the whole place is tuned to privacy and calm.
There are 120 rooms, suites and villas with ocean or garden views, and every category comes with the signature St. Regis butler. Two Jack Nicklaus golf courses lie close by, and the resort adds a spa with a temazcal ritual, three pools and a line-up of restaurants running from a steakhouse to Nikkei dining beside the adults-only pool.
Location
The resort stands on Federal Highway 200 in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, on the shores of Banderas Bay. Puerto Vallarta International Airport is about 41 km away, roughly 45 minutes by road, and the resort offers an airport shuttle.
Spa
The St. Regis Spa has treatment rooms with ocean views, a wet area with steam room and plunge pool, and separate men’s and women’s lounges. A shaman and wellness specialists lead temazcal ceremonies rooted in Huichol tradition, singing-bowl sessions, Ayurvedic treatments and chakra work; a signature is the burnout relief massage with vetiver, lavender and white jade stones. Couples have their own cabin with a heated pool, and the Luxury Suite adds a pool, outdoor shower, lounge and private treatment room.
Sports & leisure
Guests play the Bahia and Pacifico courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, and use the fitness centre and tennis courts. The concierge arranges kayaking, surfing and other water activities along the coast, and cabanas can be booked on the beach.
For children
The kids’ club runs daily from 10:00 to 13:30 and 15:00 to 17:00 under the St. Regis Family Traditions programme, with a welcome kit of sand toys, cooking classes and film screenings with snacks. Families have their own pool beside Las Marietas restaurant.

Most venues have terraces looking over the Pacific, and in-room dining is available.

Swimming
The white-sand beach is a minute’s walk from the lobby, with cabanas available to book. The resort has three pools, among them a family pool beside Las Marietas and an adults-only pool at Sakana, and each beachfront villa has its own private pool.
Pets
One pet per room is allowed, up to 25 kg, for an additional fee.
Rooms
The 120 rooms, suites and villas sit in casita-style buildings facing the gardens, the ocean or the beach; local craftwork decorates the interiors and a St. Regis butler looks after every category. The beachfront villas have private pools, kitchens and generous living spaces.
Every room has a terrace, a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling windows, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and butler service.
