The St. Regis Mexico City

About this hotel

General information

The St. Regis Mexico City stands on Paseo de la Reforma, the city’s grand boulevard, facing the fountain of Diana the Huntress and a short walk from Chapultepec Park, museums and galleries. Interiors are dressed in warm greys and beiges, with fine textiles and oversized windows framing the skyline.

The hotel’s signature is round-the-clock St. Regis Butler Service — unpacking, pressing and drinks on request — along with the brand’s rituals: the Sangrita María, a local take on the Bloody Mary, champagne sabrage and afternoon tea in Bloom Garden. There are ten restaurants and bars, among them the King Cole Bar with one of the city’s best-known terraces, The St. Regis Spa, an indoor pool and a children’s club, and guests can book helicopter flights over the city. Families and small pets are welcome.

Location

The address is Paseo de la Reforma 439 in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, close to the Sevilla and Chapultepec metro stations. Benito Juárez International Airport is about 14 km away; the hotel arranges private car transfers on request.

Spa

The St. Regis Spa looks out over the city and offers made-to-measure treatments and group programmes, with a glass of champagne before each session. The adjoining wellness centre has a sauna, an indoor pool and hot tubs with skyline views.

Sports & leisure

The fitness centre has up-to-date equipment with personal screens, and the pool, hot tubs and sauna of the wellness centre are included for hotel guests. The concierge plans outings across the city — to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Alameda Central and Chapultepec Castle — and day trips to the pyramids of Teotihuacán, including hot-air balloon flights. For special occasions the hotel can arrange a helicopter tour.

For children

The children’s club on the 15th floor, with city views, runs from Friday to Sunday for ages 5–11, with art projects, video games, story time, films and board games. At weekends a trolley of Mexican sweets tours the lobby and terrace, and Sunday brunch at Diana Restaurant includes a children’s buffet. Little ones can have an in-suite glamping set-up, and the butlers will bring cribs, rollaway beds, nappies and wipes on request.

Restaurants & bars

The hotel’s dining line-up runs from Mexican cooking and Japanese omakase to steakhouses and cocktail bars:

  • Diana Restaurant — contemporary Mexican cooking with local produce, overlooking the Diana fountain
  • King Cole Bar — cocktail bar with a celebrated terrace
  • La Table Krug — an intimate chef’s table in partnership with the House of Krug, by reservation only
  • The Glass House Café — coffee, fresh pastries and light bites
  • Sushi Tatsugoro — Japanese omakase
  • Animal — a modern steakhouse
  • Nusr-Et — Nusret Gökçe’s steakhouse with its signature tableside service
  • Caroline’s 400 — a speakeasy with live music and signature cocktails
  • MYKA — Greek frozen yoghurt

Private dining is served in the room, with 24-hour in-room dining, or in the hotel’s private spaces.
