General information
Kempinski Hotel Cancún sits on a broad beach of powder-white sand in Cancún’s Hotel Zone, right above the turquoise Caribbean. The resort pairs Kempinski’s European poise with Mexican warmth: its 363 rooms and suites all have balconies facing the sea or the pools, and guests in the club categories have their own retreat, The Club Lounge.
There are six restaurants and bars, from the Mediterranean Fantino to the Club Grill with its live evening jazz, the KAYANTÁ Spa with treatments built on Yucatán ingredients, two heated pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a kids’ club and some 3,300 m² of space for weddings and business events. The signature Lady in Red service looks after guests throughout their stay, and the concierges help plan trips along the coast.
Location
The hotel stands on its own beach in Cancún’s Hotel Zone, within walking distance of the Kukulcán Plaza and La Isla shopping centres. Cancún International Airport and the city centre are both about 18 km, or roughly 25 minutes, away by car; limousine transfers can be arranged.
Spa
KAYANTÁ Spa, whose name means “renewal” in Maya, blends ancient Maya practices with modern care and works with natural ingredients from the Yucatán. Facilities include saunas, eucalyptus steam rooms, hot tubs and rain showers, a garden patio with cold plunge pools, a beauty salon, eight treatment rooms and two spa pavilions on the beach. A well-equipped gym sits alongside.
Sports & leisure
Two heated outdoor pools look out to sea, with a hot tub by the beach. The gym is open around the clock, the floodlit tennis courts overlook the lagoon and the pickleball courts are official size; tennis equipment is lent free of charge. The hotel runs yoga sessions, boat trips, diving and snorkelling, and the concierge arranges excursions to Chichén Itzá and the cenotes, to Tulum, and by private catamaran to the reef.
For children
Titan Tikes Kids Club welcomes children aged 4–12 for arts and crafts, games and new friendships under the eye of experienced staff. The club is on the ground floor, a few steps from the spa, and babysitting can be arranged on request.

Six restaurants and bars range from gastronomic dinners to light bites on the sand:

- The Club Grill & Jazz Supper Club — international fine dining with live piano jazz
- Casitas On The Beach — à la carte Mexican cooking and the day’s catch with ocean views
- El Café Mexicano — regional Mexican buffet for breakfast, lunch and Sunday brunch
- The Caribe Bar & Grill — light snacks and grilled dishes all day, right on the beach
- D-Lounge — sushi, bar snacks and artisanal cocktails at sunset
In-room dining is also available.
Swimming
The hotel has its own equipped sandy beach, around 400 m long, on the Caribbean. Thatched beach villas for up to four adults can be reserved on the shore, with fruit, chilled water and personal service.
Pets
Under the Kempinski Paws programme the hotel accepts one dog per room, up to 15 kg and 55 cm tall; the dog must be vaccinated and the hotel informed in advance.
Rooms
The hotel’s 363 rooms and suites are elegant and contemporary, with balconies overlooking the Caribbean or the pools. Club categories come with private check-in and access to The Club Lounge on the eighth floor.

A suite with living and dining areas and a sea-view balcony, plus access to The Club Lounge. Sleeps three.

Panoramic Suite
A suite with a large balcony and a 90-degree ocean view from the bedroom itself, plus access to The Club Lounge. Sleeps three.
The Saasil Suite
A beachside suite with three bedrooms, living and dining rooms, a private garden and a terrace with pool and gazebo. Sleeps six, with access to The Club Lounge.
The Presidential Suite
A top-floor suite with bedroom, living room with grand piano, dining room, kitchen and a wide terrace with Jacuzzi and panoramic ocean views. Sleeps two, with a dedicated concierge and access to The Club Lounge.
