About this hotel
General information
Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City stands on Paseo de la Reforma, the capital’s grand boulevard, a short walk from Chapultepec Park and between the Polanco and Condesa neighbourhoods. Built in the manner of a colonial hacienda, it wraps around a quiet courtyard with a fountain, jungle greenery and a colonnade — a green refuge in one of the world’s largest cities. The renewed rooms and suites were shaped with local artisans.
There are 240 rooms, 40 of them suites. The hotel has three restaurants — the Japanese omakase OMA, the Italian Il Becco and Zanaya, cooking from Mexico’s Pacific coast — along with the Pan Dulce bakery and Fifty Mils, one of the city’s best-known cocktail bars. The Wellness House occupies the third floor, a pool sits on the roof, and the Les Clefs d’Or concierges open up the city, from the street-food stalls of Calle Burdeos to balloon flights over Teotihuacán.
Location
The address is Paseo de la Reforma 500 in Colonia Juárez; Chapultepec Park and Castle are close by, and Polanco, Condesa and Roma are within walking distance. Benito Juárez International Airport is 10 km, or 30–45 minutes by car, away; the hotel arranges limousine transfers and runs its own fleet of chauffeured cars.
Spa
The Wellness House on the third floor joins modern skincare with ancestral Mexican healing: copal ceremonies, poultices of 12 sacred herbs, and massages with red-wine oil, Mexican chocolate and tequila. There are two private treatment rooms, treatments can also be taken in the room, and guests can swim in the rooftop pool or work out in the gym before or after.
Sports & leisure
A heated rooftop pool with a sun deck and a gym with free weights and cardio machines. The concierge arranges bike rides through Chapultepec, Condesa and Roma, food tours, trips to the agave fields and mezcal makers, walks through the historic centre and hot-air balloon flights over the pyramids of Teotihuacán.
For children
Children receive a welcome programme with toys, colouring books and teddy bears, plus milk and cookies in the room at night. The hotel provides infant equipment, helps plan family outings and can arrange a babysitter.
Restaurants & bars
Three restaurants, a bar and a bakery gather around the courtyard:
- OMA — Japanese omakase for 10 guests: 21 courses of sushi, sashimi and nigiri with sake and Japanese whisky, in interiors by Ezequiel Farca
- Il Becco — Italian cooking with an open kitchen and one of the country’s largest Italian wine lists
- Zanaya — seafood in the style of Mexico’s Pacific coast
- Fifty Mils — cocktail bar with seating indoors and out in the courtyard
- Pan Dulce — Mexican and French pastries with freshly brewed coffee
Brunch is served on the terrace with live music and champagne, and in-room dining runs around the clock.
Pets
Dogs and cats are welcome with no size or breed limits, one pet per room; pets must be vaccinated and leashed in public areas. They receive a bed, bowls and treats from the pastry team, pet-sitting can be arranged, and pets are not allowed in The Wellness House, Il Becco, OMA or the banquet hall.
