General information
The resort lies on the secluded East Cape of Los Cabos, within the Costa Palmas community, where the desert and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains run down to the Sea of Cortés. It has the largest swimmable beach in Los Cabos, more than 3 km of white sand washed by calm, almost lake-like water, and the region’s only private marina.
The pared-back architecture is by Guerin Glass Architects, with interiors by Todd-Avery Lenahan of TAL Studio: glass walls slide away so rooms flow onto shaded terraces. Alongside rooms and suites, the resort lets residences and villas with kitchens and pools. Guests have 13 restaurants and bars, seven pools, a spa and a championship golf course.
Location
The resort is in La Ribera on the East Cape, well away from the busy tourist corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. Los Cabos International Airport is 65.9 km, or about 45 minutes, by car, and the hotel arranges limousine transfers. The marina takes motor yachts and sailing boats up to 76 metres.
Spa
The 1,500 m² Oasis Spa has 10 stand-alone treatment rooms and two spa suites: Agua Serena, with a plunge pool and soaking tub, and Arena Dorada, with a pool, dining room and outdoor shower. The wet areas are free to use even without a treatment booking. Massages and body treatments use local oils and sea salts from Basati; signatures include a vagus-nerve toning massage and the Burnout Recovery Massage. There is also a Rossano Ferretti salon, nail care, and yoga and Pilates classes.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre and sports club, designed by trainer Harley Pasternak, covers more than 6,300 m² with modern equipment, a lap pool, a basketball court and two tennis courts, plus daily yoga and beach boot camp. Kayaks, paddleboards, a Hobie Cat, a water trampoline and beach bikes are complimentary. The Adventure Concierge runs ATV tours in the Sierra de la Laguna foothills, hikes to the Sol de Mayo waterfall, horseback riding, fishing, snorkelling and diving at Cabo Pulmo straight from the marina, trips to Espíritu Santo island, whale-shark swims and whale watching. Resort guests can play the private 18-hole Costa Palmas Golf Club by Robert Trent Jones II, with a practice area and a 6-hole loop.
For children
The complimentary Kids For All Seasons club takes children aged 4–12 daily from 9 am to 5 pm for piñata making, bike rides, basketball, seashell hunts and baby-turtle releases. Teenagers have their own centre with games, billiards and table tennis, and younger children love the family pool with its beach-like sloping entry. Children receive welcome gifts and their own bathrobes, restaurants offer children’s menus, and babysitting can be arranged.

The resort and its Marina Village offer 13 restaurants, bars and dining experiences.

Swimming
More than 3 km of sandy Sea of Cortés beach with calm water is ideal for swimming and water sports. The seven pools include the adults-only East Cape Pool, the sea-facing Ocean Pool, a family pool, a lap pool and three secluded Arroyo pools; poolside cabanas are complimentary.
Rooms
Rooms and suites start at 63 m², with glass walls opening onto furnished terraces, many with plunge pools. Residences overlooking the marina or the sea and beachfront villas with infinity pools suit large families and longer stays.
Rooms have a stocked bar with drinks and snacks, a Nespresso machine, a dressing area with make-up table, a bathroom with double vanity, separate shower and tub, a 65-inch TV, an iPad for resort services and twice-daily housekeeping.
