General information
The Oberoi Mauritius occupies eight hectares of subtropical gardens and spreading palms on Turtle Bay, where a 600-metre golden beach is fringed by a coral reef. Its thatched pavilions and villas blend Asian and African motifs with Mauritian decorative detail; vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows fill the interiors with daylight, and generous terraces look out to the ocean and gardens.
Boutique in scale, the hotel has 72 rooms. Facilities include the Oberoi Spa, an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a water sports centre, along with a main restaurant serving Eastern, European and Creole cuisine, a poolside restaurant and a bar. Two conference rooms for up to 50 guests and a business centre cater for meetings, and there are boutiques, laundry and dry-cleaning services and car hire.
Location
The hotel lies on Turtle Bay on the north-west coast of Mauritius, close to Grand Baie, 15 km from the capital, Port Louis, and 55 km from the airport.
Spa
The Oberoi Spa has a pool, sauna, steam room, beauty salon and gym. Treatments are rooted in Eastern traditions — a range of massages, baths, aromatherapy, Ayurveda and hydrotherapy — alongside rituals using natural oils, fruit and herbs.
Sports & leisure
The grounds hold an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a water sports centre offering windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, pedalos, PADI diving, snorkelling, glass-bottom boat trips and fishing. Shows are staged for guests as well.

Dining is concentrated in three venues.

Rooms
The 72 rooms and villas include Luxury Pavilions, Luxury Villas with Private Garden, Luxury Villas with Private Pool and Royal Villas with Private Pool. Pool and garden villas can be connected on request.
Each room has air conditioning, a TV, two-line telephone, internet access, DVD player, safe, minibar and tea and coffee facilities, with a bath, shower and hairdryer in the bathroom, and butler service is provided.

A thatched pavilion with a king bed, high ceilings and a living area, and a private terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs facing the tropical gardens. Sleeps two adults with two children under 8, or two adults and one child aged 8–11 on an extra bed.

Sleeps two adults with two children under 8, or two adults and one child aged 8–11, and can connect to a Luxury Pavilion or a Luxury Villa with Private Garden.
