General information
LUX* Le Morne is an intimate 164-room resort set at the foot of Le Morne Brabant on the wild west coast of Mauritius. Its palm-fringed white-sand beach faces a calm lagoon, and the evenings belong to the sun setting over the Indian Ocean. A Mauritian architect shaped the spaces in neutral tones and natural materials, with plenty of greenery, white shutters and light fabrics.
The resort takes a mindful line on travel: its kitchens work to a zero-food-waste principle, single-use plastic is gone, water is bottled on site, and its own desalination plant supplies all the water the hotel uses. By the shore, a wooden tree house sits in the branches of an almond tree, set up for private breakfasts and open-air film nights. Local and international performers bring live music every evening.
Location
The hotel lies on the Le Morne peninsula on the south-west coast of Mauritius, below Le Morne Brabant, opening straight onto the lagoon beach. Black River Gorges National Park and well-known surf and kitesurf spots are close by. The hotel arranges car transfers from Mauritius International Airport and chauffeured drives around the island.
Spa
LUX* ME Spa has four double and four single treatment rooms, an open-air pavilion for couples, a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, infinity pool, hair salon and nail bar. The menu covers massages, body care and facials, including Intraceuticals, while the signature Homegrown Coconut Body Ritual draws on the coconut palms along the beach; the spa also uses products made in-house. Yoga, meditation and personal coaching are offered too.

For children
The PLAY kids’ club, for ages 3–11, has an indoor space with an arts and crafts zone, a library, a toddlers’ corner and a mini kitchen, plus an adjoining garden with an open lawn for free play and play structures. Each day follows a theme, mixing fun, movement, learning, nature, creativity and mindfulness. Babysitting can be booked in advance.
Restaurants & bars
The resort’s restaurants, bars and cafés run from breakfast over the lagoon to omakase at an eight-seat counter, and plant-based Keen on Green dishes appear on every menu.

- Letan Lontan — bar modelled on Mauritian village rum bars, pouring local white rum with fresh juices
- ICI — the resort’s own ice-cream parlour with homemade ice cream, sorbets and dairy-free options

Swimming
The resort has a white-sand beach shaded by coconut palms and a calm, reef-sheltered lagoon, with snorkelling gear on hand. Five pools are spread across the grounds, two of them heated, and the spa adds an infinity pool.
Rooms
The hotel has 164 rooms: 64 Deluxe Rooms, 85 junior suites in five styles and 15 Family Suites. Interiors are light and calm, with white shutters, woven rugs, pale wood and freestanding matte white bathtubs.
Every room has a king-size bed, a furnished balcony or terrace with a private sunbed, a dressing room, a bathtub and separate shower, individual air conditioning and a ceiling fan, an interactive TV, a Tropical Bar minibar refilled daily, a coffee machine with tea and coffee, a safe, free high-speed Wi-Fi and LUX* bath products.

Sunset Junior Suite
Junior suite for couples with a balcony facing the lagoon and the evening sun, a dressing room and a large walk-in shower. For 2 adults.
Junior Suite
Sea-facing junior suite with a balcony or terrace, a dressing room and a walk-in shower; can connect to a neighbouring room. Up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child.
Ocean Junior Suite
Junior suite a few steps from the beach with a wooden-deck terrace and a freestanding bath looking out to the tropical greenery. Up to 2 adults and 1 child.
Prestige Junior Suite
Junior suite with a garden terrace, wide sliding shutters, a freestanding bath and an outdoor tropical shower in volcanic stone. For 2 adults and an infant.
Le Morne Junior Suite
Junior suite with a private terrace over tropical gardens and beach views, an open-air volcanic-stone shower, a freestanding bath and a dressing area lined with marine-life wallpaper. For 2 adults and an infant.
Family Suite
Two adjoining rooms with king-size beds and two marble bathrooms, one with an outdoor shower, plus a wide furnished sea-view terrace. Up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children with an infant.
