About this hotel
General information
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa occupies the island of Kuda Huraa in North Malé Atoll. It feels like a small island village: flowering gardens and sandy paths, pavilions and villas near the beach, and villas on stilts above a turquoise lagoon. Every villa, pavilion and suite has its own pool, and several are laid out for families and groups.
The island has a strong surfing following: a handful of well-known reef breaks lie about fifteen minutes away by boat, and a Tropicsurf school runs on site. The ŪRJĀ Naturopathy Island spa sits on its own islet across the lagoon and is built around naturopathic care. A marine centre raises turtles and restores coral reefs, and guests can plant a coral frame and follow how it grows.
Location
Kuda Huraa lies in North Malé Atoll, about 20 km from Velana International Airport in Malé. Transfers are by speedboat only and take around 25 minutes; boats run around the clock, so arrival works at any hour.
Spa
ŪRJĀ Naturopathy Island is a spa on its own islet in the lagoon, reached by boat. Its programmes follow naturopathic principles: each one begins with a complimentary consultation on sleep, stress, posture and digestion, after which practitioners shape one of four pathways – rest, cleansing, nourishment or reconnection. The menu covers yoga therapy, acupuncture, sound healing, rituals with AION A mineral clay, massages, face and body treatments, manicures and hair care, plus evening rituals on a rooftop terrace under the stars.
Sports & leisure
Island calm comes with a long list of things to do on and off the water.

- Complimentary snorkelling gear, kayaks, catamarans and windsurfing, plus jetpack, hydrofoil and jet-ski sessions
- Boat trips: dolphin cruises on a dhoni, the traditional Maldivian boat, turtle, nurse shark and ray outings, sunset fishing, private yacht charters and a local island village tour

For children
The Kuda Koamas kids' club welcomes children aged 4 to 12 daily from morning to early evening, with beach games and sandcastles, clay sea creatures, palm-leaf folding, cooking classes, scavenger hunts, hermit crab races, sessions on Maldivian culture, turtle watching and coral planting. Young explorers can join Junior Marine Savers or try a Bubble Maker dive, surf lessons start at age 6, and teenagers aged 12 to 17 have their own spa treatments. Babysitting is available for children from one year old at an extra charge.
Restaurants & bars
Seven places to eat and drink, from Indian cooking over the lagoon to cocktails at sundown.
- Baraabaru – Indian cuisine over the lagoon in a building inspired by Kerala architecture: curries, tandoor dishes, seafood and plenty of vegetarian plates
- Reef Club – Italian by the lagoon, with seafood pasta and stone-oven pizza
- Café Huraa – modern pan-Asian cooking overlooking the pool and the ocean; also the breakfast venue
- Kandu Grill – steaks and freshly caught fish grilled by the ocean, with a Maldivian barbecue night every Friday
- Poolside Bar – salads and sandwiches through the day
- Sunset Lounge – cocktails facing the sunset

The resort also arranges dinners with a private chef on an uninhabited islet, beach barbecues, floating breakfasts and Indian and Italian cooking classes.
