About this hotel
General information
Four Seasons Hotel Osaka opened in August 2024 in a contemporary tower in the Dojima district, close to the historic centre and Osaka’s main sights. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the “city of water” and the Yodo River, while Gensui, the 28th floor, recreates the feel of a modern ryokan with a lounge reserved for its guests.
The spa occupies the 36th floor, and a 16-metre indoor pool looks out across the city. Dining spans Cantonese cuisine at Jiang Nan Chun on the 37th floor, Sushi L’Abysse Osaka, where Japanese chef Itaru Yasuda works alongside Yannick Alléno, the French bistro Jardin and the Bota cocktail bar. The Sky Salon is also on the 37th floor, and events are served by a three-section function room and a garden terrace.
Location
The hotel sits at the heart of Dojima, a 10-minute walk from JR Osaka station and a 10-minute drive from Osaka Castle and the historic centre. Osaka International (Itami) Airport is 15 km away, about half an hour by road, and Kansai International Airport 50 km, roughly 45 minutes.
Spa
The spa on the 36th floor has several treatment rooms, with face and body rituals that blend ancient Japanese traditions with modern Western techniques.
Sports & leisure
A modern fitness centre is open around the clock, the 16-metre indoor pool has panoramic city views, and the hotel arranges a range of excursions.
