About this hotel
General information
Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi is an intimate, 57-room hotel within Pacific Century Place, a short walk from Tokyo Station. It styles itself as a contemporary manor, and its newly redesigned rooms are the work of Hong Kong architect André Fu, who pairs Japanese restraint with cosmopolitan polish through layered textures, bespoke furniture and a curated collection of art.
Service follows the Japanese idea of omotenashi, and guests arriving by train are met on the platform at Tokyo Station. The culinary draw is SÉZANNE, a contemporary French restaurant that features on both the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and The World’s 50 Best Restaurants lists. The spa, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, draws on natural materials, water and Japanese bathing traditions.
Location
The hotel sits in Marunouchi, Tokyo’s central business district, next to Tokyo Station, the terminus for the Shinkansen and the Narita Express; the Yaesu South Exit is four minutes away on foot. Ginza’s shops and restaurants and the Imperial Palace are close by. Haneda Airport is 20 km away, 30–40 minutes by car; Narita is 80 km, about 60 minutes on the Narita Express or 70 minutes by airport limousine bus. The concierge arranges car transfers.
Spa
The Spa, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, has two treatment rooms offering tailored massages, including hot stone, along with facials and head and scalp therapies. The separate men’s and women’s areas each have a steam sauna, jet showers and an ofuro mineral bath inspired by Japanese hot springs.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre is open 24 hours, with floor-to-ceiling windows over central Tokyo. The concierge arranges day trips to Mount Fuji and to Kamakura and Enoshima, city tours by day and night, visits to the Shunkaen Bonsai Garden, tea ceremonies, sake tastings, fish market visits in Toyosu and Tsukiji, sushi, ramen and Edo Kiriko glass workshops, and sumo practice sessions and tournaments.
For children
Children aged 3–12 receive their own bath amenities, bathrobes, pyjamas and board games, and MAISON MARUNOUCHI prepares dedicated children’s dining. Several room categories connect for families, cribs are available and babysitting can be booked in advance. Family activities include ramen and sushi making, sumo practice and a day trip to Mount Fuji.
Restaurants & bars
Both restaurants are on the seventh floor, and the bistro and bar look out over Tokyo Station and the passing Shinkansen trains; in-room dining runs around the clock.
- SÉZANNE — contemporary French cuisine with a show kitchen and chef’s table, interiors by André Fu; children aged 13 and over
- MAISON MARUNOUCHI — all-day Parisian-style bistro for breakfast, lunch, seasonal afternoon tea and dinner, with The Library, a private dining room for up to six
