About this hotel
General information
Conrad Tokyo fills floors 28 to 37 of a tower in the Shiodome business district, a short walk from Ginza. One side of the building looks over Tokyo Bay and the green expanse of Hamarikyu Gardens, the other across the towers of Ginza and Shiodome. The interiors pair a calm contemporary look with Japanese touches: sumi-e style cherry blossom on the headboards, lantern-shaped lamps and bright bathrooms behind glass partitions.
Reception and the TwentyEight bar sit on the 28th floor, with Mizuki Spa & Fitness and its 25-metre pool one level up. There are five restaurants and bars covering French, Chinese and Japanese cooking, an art collection devoted to Tokyo’s creative scene that guests can explore on their own with a catalogue, and Conrad 1/3/5 walks through the Minato area lasting one, three or five hours. Events are served by two ballrooms and meeting rooms with city views.
Location
The hotel stands in Shiodome, in Tokyo’s Minato ward, about a minute’s walk from Shiodome station on the Oedo and Yurikamome lines and some seven minutes from Shimbashi station. Ginza is roughly 500 m away, Tsukiji Outer Market 900 m, and Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace both under 2 km. Haneda Airport is 20 km away, about 30 minutes by taxi; Narita is 70 km away, 110–120 minutes by Airport Limousine bus or about an hour by Narita Express to Tokyo station. A chauffeured car can be arranged by the hotel.
Spa
Mizuki Spa & Fitness covers more than 1,400 m² on the 29th floor, with views across the skyline. Its Japanese-style treatment rooms offer body massages and facials, and the signature rituals draw on Japanese traditions: Mizuki Spirit begins with a soak in a hinoki cypress bath and a tea ritual, Mizuki Still combines shiatsu-inspired massage with facial and head massage, Mizuki Flow brings a foot bath, scrub and body massage, while Graceful Time is assembled around the guest. Every treatment includes use of the pool and bathing areas, and a relaxation room awaits afterwards.
Sports & leisure
The 24-hour gym at Mizuki Spa & Fitness, with up-to-date equipment and a studio, is reserved for hotel guests and members. Trainers lead one-to-one sessions in stretching, yoga and Pilates as well as daily group classes, and the Technogym Checkup assessment gives a personal “wellness age”. Once a month, on the night of the full moon, a meditative yoga session is held against the night skyline. The concierge helps with plans for the city, and Conrad 1/3/5 offers walks around Minato focused on design and local culture.
For children
Babysitting can be arranged on request.
Restaurants & bars
Dining spreads across the tower’s upper floors; Conrad Afternoon Tea, with seasonal themes, is served daily with views of Tokyo Bay and Hamarikyu Gardens, and room service runs around the clock.
