Conrad Osaka

About this hotel

General information

Conrad Osaka occupies the uppermost floors of Nakanoshima Festival Tower West, on the island of Nakanoshima in the business heart of Osaka. The lobby sits on the 40th floor, around 200 metres above the ground, and all 164 rooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the city, the Yodo River and the mountains beyond. Festival Hall, next door, is reached by an underground link.

Art shapes the interiors: 389 works, mostly by Japanese artists, take wind, light, water and the night sky as their themes, and individual spaces are each assigned a constellation. The 40th floor gathers the restaurants and bars, the 39th the Executive Lounge, and the 38th Conrad Spa, the pool and the gym. Conrad 1/3/5 itineraries introduce Osaka in one, three or five hours, and more than 700 m² of function space serves events.

Location

The hotel stands on Nakanoshima in the Kita ward of central Osaka, with direct access to Higobashi station on the Yotsubashi subway line and Watanabebashi station on the Keihan Nakanoshima line. Yodoyabashi station is about six minutes on foot, JR Osaka station about five minutes by car, Umeda within walking distance and Osaka Castle 3 km away. From Kansai Airport the Airport Limousine bus takes about 50 minutes to the Osaka station area, a car about the same and the train around an hour; from Itami Airport it is about 30 minutes by bus or 20 minutes by car. A chauffeured car can be booked in advance through the bell desk.

Spa

Conrad Spa, on the 38th floor, is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Programmes are tailored to each guest, blending traditional techniques with European methods in spacious private treatment rooms, with a relaxation lounge behind floor-to-ceiling windows and light refreshments served with every visit. Signature rituals include Celestial Light (a rosemary and mineral-salt scrub, an avocado butter wrap, an oil-infused bath, body massage and a facial), Authentic Spa Spiritual with a green tea and bamboo scrub and a bamboo massage, and Opulent Detox Ritual with an Ayurvedic mask, wrap and massage. A separate menu was created with the French brand Sisley, ISUN products are also used, and there are SPA Healing Sessions built around sound and water, as well as a beauty salon.

Sports & leisure

The 38th-floor gym, equipped by Technogym, is open around the clock to hotel guests, alongside the pool, sauna and jet bath. Daily Wellness Activities are held for guests staying at the hotel.
