General information
Verdura Resort spreads across 230 hectares of olive and orange groves on Sicily’s south-west coast, along a long stretch of white sand. The architecture is set quietly into the landscape, and the rooms and pool villas were designed by well-known interior designers.
It suits both active and unhurried stays: a golf club, a tennis academy, a water sports and diving centre, thermal pools and a spa whose treatments draw on the resort’s own organic garden. Dining runs to seven restaurants, from a Sicilian trattoria to Japanese cuisine. For events there are several rooms, including a banquet hall, and open-air spaces; boutiques and business services are on site, and weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged.
Location
The resort sits on the beach on Sicily’s south-west coast, about 40 minutes’ drive from historic Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples, 15 minutes from the port of Sciacca and around 1 hour 20 minutes from Palermo international airport.
Spa
The spa has several treatment rooms, outdoor thalassotherapy pools, saunas, a steam room and experience showers. Signature face and body treatments and massages are based on natural ingredients from the resort’s organic farm.
Sports & leisure
The grounds hold a golf club, a tennis academy, a water sports and diving centre, a modern fitness centre, a yoga and Pilates studio, an outdoor pool and running trails. Bicycles and golf, tennis and water sports equipment can be hired. The resort also hosts art exhibitions and entertainment, and arranges boat trips and excursions.

Swimming
The resort has its own private sandy beach.

Rooms and villas take their cue from Sicily: sunny citrus tones, natural wood and stone, handmade textiles and original decorative pieces. Windows, balconies and terraces look over the Mediterranean, the golf courses and the grounds.
