General information
The St. Regis Florence occupies a palazzo on the Arno built in the early fifteenth century to a design by Brunelleschi. First the home of the aristocratic Giuntini family and later the Grand Hotel Royal de la Paix, it opened as The St. Regis Florence in 2009.
Renaissance splendour carries through the building, from frescoed, antique-filled rooms to the restaurant, bar and reception halls. Guests also have a spa and a 24-hour gym, a wine cellar used for tastings, seven event rooms for up to 300 people, a business centre, butler and concierge service, car hire, parking, laundry and dry cleaning, and the hotel arranges weddings.
Location
On the Arno in Florence’s historic centre, close to the Uffizi, the Duomo and the shops of the Ponte Vecchio; Santa Maria Novella station is 1 km away and Amerigo Vespucci International Airport 6.4 km.

Winter Garden by Caino serves Tuscan and Mediterranean cooking with wines from the hotel cellar. Beneath old arches, the St. Regis Bar pours aperitifs and cocktails, among them a Bloody Mary made to the house recipe. Wine tastings are held in the cellar, and in-room dining is available.
Rooms
The 99 rooms – 80 guest rooms and 19 suites – are furnished with antiques and art in Medici, Florentine or Renaissance style: coffered ceilings, frescoes and brocade in the Florentine rooms, the colours of Tuscan wine in the Medici ones. Suite guests have butler service.
