General information
Royal Hotel Sanremo turns a white façade to the Mediterranean and sits within 16,000 m² of subtropical gardens. Its interiors pair restrained classicism with contemporary touches and modern technology: marble columns, stucco ceilings, fine carpets and furniture in the lobby, and pastel-toned rooms looking out to the sea or the park.
The grounds hold a heated seawater pool, tennis courts, mini-golf, a gym and a conference centre with seven rooms for 20–250 people plus a 400 m² exhibition hall; children have a mini club and play areas. Services include a hairdresser, reading and bridge rooms, laundry, indoor and outdoor parking with a garage, and car hire. Men are expected to wear a jacket at dinner in Fiori di Murano.
Location
The hotel is in the centre of the resort town of Sanremo on Italy’s north-western coast, 65 km from Nice Airport, 130 km from Genoa Airport and 4 km from Sanremo railway station.
Spa
Le Acque spa has a Jacuzzi, a Turkish bath and a therapeutic shower, with health and beauty treatments using Payot, Decléor and Tauleto products, plus a beauty salon and hairdresser.
Sports & leisure
The heated outdoor seawater pool is framed by a terrace with loungers and parasols. There are also tennis courts, mini-golf, a gym and sports equipment hire, and a golf course lies 5 km away.
For children
Children have their own pool, a playground and playroom and a mini club; babysitting is available on request.
Restaurants & bars
Three restaurants, two bars and a breakfast room are spread through the hotel and gardens.
- Fiori di Murano — the main restaurant beneath Murano glass chandeliers, Mediterranean and international cuisine, set menu and à la carte
- Corallina — poolside restaurant and bar, April to September, with dishes, drinks and light snacks in the shade
- Il Giardino — an open-air terrace restaurant in the garden overlooking the sea, with candlelit dinners in summer
- Aranci — the breakfast room, with views of the park and sea
- Bar delle Rose — a cosy bar with piano music
- Gazebo dell’Amore — a garden gazebo for a private dinner for two

A bedroom with a sitting area and a bathroom, some with a sea-view terrace; individually designed. Sleeps up to 3.

A sea-view suite with a balcony: a bedroom with a double or twin beds and a separate living room; each suite is decorated differently.
Exclusive Queen Suite
Two rooms divided by double sliding doors — a bedroom and a sea-view living room — plus two bathrooms and a sea-view balcony.
Exclusive King Suite
A bright suite furnished with restored antiques: a bedroom, a separate sea-view living room, a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with bath and shower.
Exclusive Suite Penthouse
A contemporary top-floor suite with sea and town views: a bedroom, a separate living room with a sofa bed for two, two bathrooms and a private terrace with loungers and a table.
Exclusive Suite Sissi
A sea-view suite with a double or twin-bedded bedroom, a bathroom, a large living room with work area and a spacious terrace with dining area, gazebo, loungers and Jacuzzi. An extra bedroom can be added, bringing it to 111 m².
Aurora Exclusive Suite
A sea-view suite with a double or twin-bedded bedroom, a bathroom, a large living room with work area and a spacious terrace with dining area, gazebo, loungers and Jacuzzi. An extra bedroom can be added.
