General information
Mandarin Oriental, Milan opened in July 2015 across four elegant nineteenth-century buildings in the very heart of the city, a few steps from the boutiques of Via Montenapoleone, La Scala, the Duomo and Sforza Castle. It pairs the group’s polished service with a refined Milanese sensibility.
Rooms and suites blend Italian design with Oriental touches, the spa covers 900 m², and the gastronomic restaurant Seta holds two Michelin stars. Two meeting rooms, Oriental and Taipa, accommodate up to 90 people; guests also have business services, a limousine, concierge and laundry, and the hotel arranges weddings and honeymoon programmes.
Location
The hotel stands on Via Andegari in central Milan, beside La Scala, three minutes on foot from Via Montenapoleone and 10–20 minutes from the main sights. Linate airport is 20 minutes by car and Malpensa international airport 45 minutes.
Spa
The 900 m² spa has an indoor pool, beauty salon, nail studio, spa boutique, relaxation area and six treatment rooms, including a Thai massage room, two couples’ suites and a VIP suite with steam room and whirlpool bath. Treatments range from aromatherapy and massage to rituals that combine ancient Eastern traditions with modern Western techniques.
Sports & leisure
A heated indoor pool and a gym with current equipment and a yoga studio; the hotel also arranges a variety of excursions.
Restaurants & bars
Seta, with two Michelin stars, serves chef Antonio Guida’s refined Italian cuisine, with a terrace in the inner courtyard during the warmer months. Mandarin Garden, a bar and bistro with a stylish room and an intimate patio, offers light dishes and cocktails. In-room dining is available.

The 104 rooms — 68 Guest Rooms and 36 Suites — blend Italian design with Oriental motifs, looking out over the historic centre or the inner courtyard.
Rooms have air conditioning, telephone, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and a safe, with a tub, shower, hairdryer and toiletries in the marble bathroom.
