General information
Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is a collection of elegant villas set right on the water’s edge of Lake Como, within a botanical garden. Among them is the historic 18th-century Villa Roccabruna. The hotel opened in 2019, and its interiors bring together classic Italian style, understated contemporary design and the feel of an aristocratic residence.
Guests have rooms and suites, two private villas, a restaurant with a broad terrace over the lake, a heated pool on a platform above the water and a 1,300 m² spa. Four rooms host meetings and celebrations; weddings are arranged and there are dedicated programmes for newlyweds. Services include a concierge, business centre, car hire, laundry and dry cleaning, free Wi-Fi and parking.
Location
The hotel stands on the south-eastern shore of Lake Como in the village of Blevio, 5 km from the centre of Como and 57 km from Milan Malpensa International Airport.
Spa
The 1,300 m² spa brings together a spa pool, a relaxation pool, a hammam, a Himalayan salt grotto, a gym and a lounge overlooking the lake. Its nine treatment rooms include two couples’ spa suites and four VIP suites. The menu covers Mandarin Oriental signature treatments, rituals based on local natural products and care from leading international skincare brands.
Sports & leisure
There are two pools: a heated outdoor pool on a platform above the lake and an indoor pool. The fitness centre has strength and cardio equipment. On the water there is windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and boat trips around the lake; on land, walking and cycling routes and excursions. Two 18-hole golf courses lie 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
Restaurants & bars
The kitchen follows regional and Italian tradition, and in-room dining is available.

Rooms
The 75 rooms and suites (21 rooms and 52 suites) are spread across seven villas, with two further villas reserved for private stays. Interiors pair classic Italian style with contemporary design, and windows and balconies look out over Lake Como or the garden.
