General information
Lido Palace occupies an elegant 19th-century palazzo on the shore of Lake Garda, beneath dramatic cliffs and within a park of magnolias, cedars, cypresses and palms. It first opened in 1889, when Riva had become a favourite retreat of the Habsburgs, and during the Belle Époque it received distinguished guests including King Victor Emmanuel III.
In 2011, after a major renovation involving the architect Alberto Cecchetto, the hotel reopened with its Liberty style sharpened by contemporary glass and steel. It now has 42 rooms, restaurants with lake views and the Cento11 Spa with pools and a thermal area, and is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Two conference rooms seat 12 and 50, weddings are arranged, and services include a business centre, free Wi-Fi, parking with an electric-car charging point, car hire, bicycle and e-bike rental, a concierge and laundry.
Location
The hotel is on the northern shore of Lake Garda in the town of Riva del Garda, 82 km (about an hour’s drive) from Verona airport, 2.5 hours from Venice airport and 3 hours from Milan airport.
Spa
Cento11 Spa has heated indoor and outdoor pools, a hydromassage bath, a thermal area with Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, hammam, Mediterranean steam room and salt room, a beauty salon and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas with a vitamin bar. Treatment rooms include a couples’ spa suite with a hydromassage bath, Rasul and a massage area. Programmes of varying length and individual treatments use 111Skin, Comfort Zone and Le Galenica products alongside local ingredients — white fir, citrus oil, lavender and the signature Tranquillity essential-oil blend.
Sports & leisure
Guests have heated indoor and outdoor pools and a 24-hour fitness centre equipped by Technogym. The hotel offers yoga, water sports including stand-up paddleboarding, cycling, hiking, rock climbing, wine tastings, boat trips on Lake Garda and excursions.
Restaurants & bars
Dining ranges from international favourites to a personal take on Trentino cooking, and in-room dining is available.

The 42 rooms and suites are elegant and contemporary in warm pastel tones, with windows and balconies looking over the old park and Lake Garda.
