About this hotel
General information
Jumeirah Capri Palace sits in Anacapri, the quieter upper half of Capri, close to Villa San Michele and the Axel Munthe museum, the chairlift up Monte Solaro, old watchtowers, forts and narrow lanes. Its architecture recalls an 18th-century Mediterranean palace — marble floors, arches, columns, vaulted ceilings and fine plasterwork — lightened by contemporary design. Some rooms take their themes from Greek mythology, the Surrealist painters and famous actresses.
Beyond the medical spa, Capri Beauty Farm, there are Michelin-starred restaurants, a wine cellar, the hotel’s own yachts and speedboats, a contemporary art gallery and two boutiques, Mariorita for fashion and Acquamarina for children’s clothing. Three meeting rooms hold up to 144 guests, and several indoor and outdoor spaces host weddings. Parking, car hire, laundry and a shuttle to the Piazzetta complete the services.
Location
The hotel stands on Capri’s north coast, a short distance from the centre of Anacapri, with a hotel shuttle down to the Piazzetta.
Spa
Capri Beauty Farm is a medical spa led by Professor Francesco Canonaco, drawing on scientific research and on both Western and Eastern practice. Doctors and nutritionists design a personal programme for each guest, from weight loss, detox and stress relief to rejuvenation, as well as posture assessment and correction. The menu adds massages, thalassotherapy, mud treatments and classic beauty rituals; facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, hydrotherapy, a beauty salon, a relaxation area and a gym with personal trainers.
Sports & leisure
There is a fitness centre with modern equipment and an outdoor pool whose mosaic floor was designed by the artist Velasco Vitali. Speedboats are available for longer sea outings and private transfers, and a traditional gozzo motorboat takes guests to the Blue Grotto.
Restaurants & bars
Two Michelin-starred restaurants lead the hotel’s dining, joined by a relaxed bistro, a wine cellar and a bar.
- L’Olivo — two Michelin stars, seafood-led cooking by chef Salvatore Elefante
- Il Riccio — one Michelin star, seafood and Italian cooking by chef Giovanni Bavuso, with panoramic sea views
- Bistrot Ragù — simple traditional dishes in an easy-going setting
- La Dolce Vite — tastings in a former village tavern, drawing on a collection of more than 12,000 bottles
- Bar degli Artisti — wine and cocktails among works by contemporary artists, with live music
Swimming
Il Riccio Beach Club lies on the island’s northern cliffs near the Blue Grotto, with its own access to the sea.
