General information
Imperiale Palace Hotel occupies an Art Nouveau palace built as an aristocratic residence in the Belle Époque. It rises from a park that slopes down to the bay of Santa Margherita Ligure, its curving lines and wraparound balconies looking over greenery and the clear water that once drew queens and nobility to this coast. Today the building counts among the historic landmarks of the Italian Riviera.
Inside, the old house survives in frescoed ceilings, stucco work, Murano glass chandeliers and antiques, paired with contemporary service, and the rooms look out to the sea and Portofino. There is a private beach, a spa, restaurants serving Ligurian cooking and bars, along with several conference rooms and outdoor spaces for celebrations; weddings are arranged and honeymoon programmes offered. Concierge, laundry, dry cleaning and parking complete the services.
