General information
Hotel Pitrizza spreads across the rolling hills above the bay of Liscia di Vacca on the Costa Smeralda. It was designed in 1963 by the Italian architect Luigi Vietti as an understated Mediterranean retreat, and its buildings still blend so naturally into the landscape that they are hard to pick out from the sea or the land.
The hotel is managed by LVMH Hotel Management. Its 49 rooms and suites sit among gardens or face the sea, while 16 villas, most with a private pool, suit couples, families and groups of friends. Guests have a secluded private beach, the celebrated saltwater pool set among granite rocks, The Grill Restaurant, a terrace bar, a Wellness Centre, a 24-hour fitness centre, tennis and padel courts and a kids’ club. The concierges arrange coastal walks, sailing trips and outings into the Sardinian hinterland, from archaeological sites to old villages and wineries.
Location
The hotel lies at Liscia di Vacca on the Costa Smeralda in north-eastern Sardinia, 5 km from the boutiques and restaurants of Porto Cervo. Olbia airport is 35 km away.
Spa
The Wellness Centre offers face and body rituals, from massages and facials to manicures, pedicures and hair treatments. On request, treatments can also be given in the privacy of a room or villa.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre is open around the clock, and personal trainers can be booked for fitness, stretching or yoga sessions there or in a room or villa. There are tennis and padel courts, and watersports include jet skis, windsurfing, seabobs and kayaks. Beyond the hotel lie the 18-hole Pevero Golf Course, hiking, running and cycling trails on the Pevero hill and the Monte Moro path, horse rides along the beach, and sailing trips to the coves of La Maddalena or across to Bonifacio in southern Corsica.
For children
The Pitrizza Kids’ Club welcomes children aged 3–12 in its own pergola and a garden with outdoor games, supervised by a dedicated member of staff; younger children can play there with their parents. Professional babysitters are available on request, and The Grill Restaurant offers an à la carte children’s menu and freshly prepared baby food.

Swimming
The secluded private beach, lined with sun loungers on calm Mediterranean water, is good for snorkelling among the marine life of the Costa Smeralda. The saltwater pool, framed by its celebrated granite rocks, looks out to sea, and drinks and light bites are served at both.
Pets
Dogs and cats up to 12 kg are welcome. They must be kept on a lead around the hotel and may not go to the pool or the beach; a bed, a toy and fresh water are provided in the room.
Rooms
The 49 rooms and suites, decorated in traditional Sardinian style, sit among the gardens or above the sea, each with a balcony, terrace or garden. The 16 villas are designed for couples, families and friends, and most have a private pool with views of the Mediterranean.
Classic Room
A bedroom in Sardinian style, a ceramic-tiled bathroom and a balcony overlooking the garden. King-size or twin beds; up to two guests.
Premium Room
An authentically Sardinian bedroom opening onto a sitting area and a wide sea-view terrace; one of these rooms is a duplex. King-size or twin beds, and an extra bed can be added.
Sea Room
A newly designed room in cream tones, dark oak and Sardinian embroidery, with a terrace facing the sea. The bathroom, tiled in ceramics handmade on the island, has a shower, a bathtub and a walk-in closet; the room can connect to a second Sea Room.
Frontline Sea Room
A redesigned room right in front of the beach: a sea-view bedroom, a bathroom with shower, bathtub and walk-in closet, and a loggia with a living and dining area. The loggia leads to a garden with sun loungers and direct access to the hotel beach.
Garden Suite
A bedroom, a bathroom, a separate living room in Sardinian style and a shaded terrace overlooking the garden. An extra bed can be added in the living room.
2-bedroom Duplex Sea Suite
A suite on two floors: upstairs, a living room with a large terrace and a bedroom with a bath-and-shower bathroom; downstairs, a smaller bedroom for a third guest with a shower room and a sea-view terrace. It can connect to a Premium Room.
Sea Suite
A renovated sea-view suite with a generous bedroom, a separate living room opening onto a large balcony with dining area, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with bathtub) and a walk-in closet. King-size bed only; a sofa bed on request.
Roccia Pool Suite
Perched on a rocky ridge above the bay: a bedroom carved into the granite, two bathrooms and a living room opening onto a panoramic terrace. The terrace has a pool with lounge and dining areas.
Pool Suite
A bright bedroom and a generous living room that pair local materials with modern design. The terrace has a dining area and a pool overlooking the bay or the Mediterranean garden.
Deluxe Pool Suite
A spacious bedroom, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a living room with dining area opening onto a terrace with a heated pool and a veranda. The sea is in view from every corner.
Villa Corbezzolo
A secluded villa with its own steps down to the sea: a bedroom, two bathrooms and a large terrace with a lounge, sunbeds and a dining table under a pergola. Up to two guests.
2-bedroom Pool Casa di Sopra
A newly reimagined hillside villa with sea views: a master bedroom with bathroom and dressing room, a second bedroom opening to the garden, and a living and dining room leading to a terrace with a heated pool. A third bedroom with its own bathroom has a separate entrance; up to six guests.
2-bedroom Pool Villa
A living room with dining area, a terrace with a pool and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Up to four guests.
3-bedroom Pool Villa
A generous living room overlooking the heated pool, terrace and garden, with three en-suite bedrooms; the third, with twin beds, has its own entrance. Up to six guests.
3-bedroom Beach & Pool Villa
Two double bedrooms and a single, each en suite, plus a living room with dining area. The terrace has a heated pool and a Jacuzzi, and the garden runs down to the villa’s private beach; up to five guests.
3-bedroom Pitrizza Pool Villa
Three bedrooms, each with bathroom and dressing room, around a living room with panoramic sea views. The terrace has outdoor dining, lounges and two heated pools, with a garden alongside; up to six guests.
