General information
Grand Hotel Vesuvio stands on the seafront in one of the most prestigious districts of Naples, a short walk from Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and the San Carlo opera house. Since 1882 it has welcomed travellers and famous names from around the world — Enrico Caruso called it his Neapolitan home — with a hospitality that is thoroughly Neapolitan, every detail steeped in history and respect for tradition.
The hotel has a roof-garden restaurant, a bar, the Echia Club health and beauty centre with an indoor pool and fitness studio, the Vivaldi business centre and rooms for meetings and corporate events, and it arranges weddings and other celebrations. It is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World; evening dress is preferred at Caruso Roof Garden.
Location
The hotel is on the Naples seafront, a 20-minute drive from Capodichino airport.
Spa
Echia Club is the hotel’s health and beauty centre, where experienced therapists offer a wide range of treatments for rest and restoration, alongside a hydromassage pool, sauna and Turkish bath.
Sports & leisure
Experienced instructors lead classes in current disciplines such as Bodyflex, cardio fitness and low-impact aerobics. The hotel arranges excursions to Pompeii and Herculaneum, and its cruiser Vesuvietta, with several cabins, is available for days at sea.
For children
A fully equipped children’s room is available for families, and babysitting can be arranged on request.
Restaurants & bars
Caruso Roof Garden, named after the great tenor, serves traditional Neapolitan cooking with a panorama of the bay from the hotel’s roof garden. Vesuvietta bar offers a wide choice of wines and aperitifs, Italian pastries and light bites.

Deluxe Sea View Junior Suite
