General information
Grand Hotel Quisisana opened on Capri in 1845 and has since become one of the island’s emblems, alongside the Piazzetta, the Certosa di San Giacomo, the Faraglioni rocks and the Blue Grotto. Its hospitality, elegance and glamour have long drawn politicians, royalty and artists, and its interiors are defined by soft lighting, gilt-framed mirrors and marble floors.
The hotel has six restaurants and bars, the QuisiBeauty spa, outdoor and indoor pools, its own park and a theatre. Rooms for meetings and receptions hold 12–400 guests, and weddings and other celebrations are arranged. Grand Hotel Quisisana is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Location
The hotel is on Capri, reached by boat from Sorrento (25 minutes) or Naples (50 minutes); hotel staff meet guests at Capri harbour. The nearest international airport is Naples Capodichino, and scheduled helicopters from Italy’s major cities land at the Damecuta heliport in Anacapri, with a transfer on to the Piazzetta.
Spa
QuisiBeauty offers a wide choice of face and body treatments with natural products, pairing modern techniques with the thermal recipes of the ancient Romans, who saw Capri as an island of pleasure. There are saunas, a hammam, a warm indoor hydromassage pool, a Kneipp hydrotherapy circuit and dedicated programmes for men.
Sports & leisure
Guests have a modern, well-equipped gym, with two tennis courts a short walk away. The hotel arranges excursions around the island and shopping on Via Camerelle.

The light-filled rooms and suites are Mediterranean in feel and dressed mostly in white, the hotel’s signature colour, leaving the vivid colours to the views of Capri outside. There are also two villas.
