About this hotel
General information
Four Seasons Milano occupies a fifteenth-century convent close to the designer boutiques of the fashion district, La Scala and the Duomo. The original architecture has been preserved, so the calm of the former cloister still shapes the place, even though the comforts are thoroughly modern.
Rooms are individually decorated, pairing contemporary Italian design with antique furniture. The restaurants serve international and Mediterranean cuisine, with vegetarian and children’s menus. A business centre with meeting and banqueting rooms hosts corporate and private events, and the hotel arranges weddings and honeymoon programmes. Other services include a film library, laundry, dry cleaning and a limousine service.
Location
The hotel is in central Milan, 11 km (about 25 minutes by car) from Linate international airport and 45 km (about an hour) from Malpensa international airport.
Spa
The 800 m² spa was designed by architect Patricia Urquiola in warm cream and wood tones. It has a steam room and seven treatment rooms for massage, face and body care, as well as nail services.
Sports & leisure
An 80 m² gym and a 14-metre swimming pool. Golfers can be driven to courses 18, 40 and 55 km from the hotel.
For children
Babysitting is available on request, and the restaurants offer a children’s menu.
Restaurants & bars
La Veranda is a quiet restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes, with views of the landscaped inner courtyard. Il Foyer, the lobby bar, stands where the convent church was five centuries ago; with a fireplace and walls hung with Filippo Peroni’s sketches for La Scala, it serves light bites and a wide choice of drinks.

The 118 Rooms and Suites combine contemporary Italian design with the building’s historic architectural features.
Rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, a multi-line telephone with voicemail, internet access, fax on request, CD and DVD players, iPod dock, safe, minibar, hairdryer and bathrobes.

A bedroom with a king-size bed or two twin beds, sitting area and marble bathroom with soaking tub, on the ground to fifth floors overlooking the main or smaller courtyards; for two adults.
Deluxe Room
A light, contemporary room with terracotta accents, a king-size bed, sitting area and marble bathroom on the first or second floor, overlooking the courtyards or Via Gesù; for two adults and an infant.
Premium Room
A bedroom with a king-size bed or two single beds, sitting area and marble bathroom, overlooking the smaller courtyards or Via Gesù; some connect to a neighbouring room. For up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Premium Room – Garden View
A room on the first or second floor with a king-size bed, sitting area and marble bathroom, overlooking the main garden courtyard; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Studio Suite
An open-plan suite with a king-size bed, living area and marble bathroom, dressed in Rubelli fabrics; some have sloping ceilings and a step-out balcony over the smaller courtyards or Via Gesù. For up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Studio Suite Garden View
An open-plan suite on the ground to second floors with a king-size bed or two single beds, a comfortable living area and marble bathroom, overlooking the main garden; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Executive Suite
A corner suite with a king-size bedroom, living room with a dining table for four and marble bathroom, in sky-blue or terracotta Rubelli fabrics, overlooking the courtyards or Via Gesù; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Fresco Suite
A first-floor suite beneath an 18th-century hand-painted fresco, with a king-size bedroom, living area, walk-in wardrobe and marble bathroom, overlooking the main courtyard; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Cloister Suite
A ground-floor suite on three levels, with the bedroom and bathroom raised above the living area, original architecture, a hardwood foyer and walk-in wardrobe, overlooking the gardens. For up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Fashion Suite with Terrace
A fourth-floor suite in the penthouse wing with a king-size bedroom, Carrara marble bathroom with tub and walk-in shower, and a terrace with lounge seating and a dining table for four over the rooftops; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Renaissance Suite
A first-floor suite with a Renaissance stucco ceiling, four windows onto the main courtyard, a canopied king-size bed, dressing table, walk-in wardrobe and a Carrara marble bathroom with a window; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Designer Suite
A third-floor suite in contemporary Italian design with a living room, work area, separate bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, Carrara marble bathroom and a guest powder room with shower, overlooking the main courtyard; for up to three adults or two adults and a child.
Presidential Suite
A third-floor suite over the main and inner courtyards with living and dining rooms (table for six), serving kitchen, cocktail bar, a bedroom with dressing area and an oversized marble bathroom with jetted tub, plus a guest powder room; a second bedroom can be added with a Premium Room.
Penthouse Suite with Terrace
The fifth-floor penthouse with its own lift, a rooftop garden terrace, views over central Milan and the Duomo, a kitchen, media room with fireplace and a bedroom with walk-in wardrobe; one or two more bedrooms on the level above connect by a staircase.
