General information
Opened in 2008, Four Seasons Hotel Firenze lies within a 15th-century park, not far from the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Uffizi. The hotel is a historic landmark in its own right, occupying an old villa and a Renaissance palazzo once owned by the noble Tuscan Della Gherardesca family.
Interiors with 17th-century frescoes, antique furniture and original works of art now house the rooms, the spa and banqueting halls. The landscaped park, with centuries-old trees, statues and fountains, holds a large pool and quiet corners for walks and picnics. Meeting rooms, open-air spaces for celebrations, boutiques and parking complete the offer, and weddings can be arranged.
Location
The hotel is in the historic centre of Florence, a 15-minute walk from Piazza del Duomo and Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Signoria, the Accademia and the Uffizi. Amerigo Vespucci International Airport is 15 km away, about 20 minutes by car.
Spa
The spa has several treatment rooms. Alongside a choice of massages, treatments use local olive oil, Australian crystals, Himalayan salt and natural products.

A large outdoor pool sits in the park, there is a modern fitness centre, and excursions can be arranged.
