General information
Conrad Chia Laguna spreads across the bay of Chia on Sardinia’s southern coast, among gardens and pools, golden beaches backed by white dunes and lagoons where pink flamingos feed. The resort brings together four hotels and private villas, each with its own character.
The grounds hold a spa, a diving centre and a water sports centre, children’s clubs for several age groups, a wide choice of restaurants and the Piazza degli Ulivi with shops, a concert stage and a nightclub. The Chia congress centre, with 830 seats, seven meeting rooms and a large banqueting hall, is one of the biggest on the island; weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged. Parking, car hire, laundry and dry cleaning are available.
Location
The resort lies on the southern coast of Sardinia in the small resort of Chia, 58 km from Cagliari Elmas airport.
Spa
The four-level nature spa stands at the very heart of the resort. Reception is on the first level; the second holds treatment rooms and an outdoor Jacuzzi; the third is a hydrotherapy area with cooling rooms, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a relaxation space. The fourth is an open-air terrace with a Jacuzzi, scented by the garden and looking over the bay.
Sports & leisure
The resort has four outdoor pools, tennis courts, a football pitch, mini golf, a water sports centre and a diving centre. Golf lessons, horse riding, cycling, boat trips and excursions are on offer, with concerts and shows in the evenings. Tennis and water sports equipment and bicycles can be hired.
For children
Children have their own pool, a playground, a playroom and Bimbi, a restaurant with a children’s menu for breakfast and lunch. Clubs cater for babies under 2, children aged 3–6 and 7–10, and teenagers aged 11–13 and 14–17; babysitting is available on request.

Restaurants are spread across the resort’s hotels, and a Dine Around programme links them.

- Taiki Sushi Restaurant — Japanese cuisine, sushi and sashimi, evenings in July and August
Swimming
The sandy beach of Le Dune di Campana is 700 m away, reached by a regular shuttle train.
Rooms
The 107 rooms and suites, split between the Laguna and Oasi buildings, pair a clean contemporary style with Sardinian touches such as carved wood and local ceramics. Terraces look out over the sea, the gardens or the resort.
Rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a telephone, satellite TV, a minibar, an electronic safe, a hairdryer and a bathroom with a bath or shower.
