Bulgari Hotel Roma

About this hotel

General information

Bulgari Hotel Roma opened in June 2023 in a monumental modernist building from the 1930s. Its façade faces two landmarks of ancient Rome, the Mausoleum of Augustus and the Ara Pacis, and as a hotel in the brand’s home city it carries the Bulgari aesthetic into every detail.

Interiors are by Antonio Citterio, and the cooking is led by Niko Romito, holder of three Michelin stars. Alongside the restaurants and bars, including La Terrazza on the roof, there is a modern gym and a 1,500 m² Bulgari Spa that recalls the baths of ancient Rome. Guests also have a library, a business centre, Wi-Fi, concierge and laundry service.

Location

The hotel is in the Campo Marzio district of Rome’s historic centre, on Piazza Augusto Imperatore, close to the Spanish Steps, Via del Corso, Via del Babuino and the Bulgari flagship on Via Condotti.

Spa

The 1,500 m² Bulgari Spa is designed in the spirit of ancient Roman baths, with a 25-metre indoor pool, a relaxation area and nine treatment rooms. The menu is broad and includes treatments using Augustinus Bader products.

Sports & leisure

A 25-metre indoor pool framed by marble columns and stained glass, a gym with modern equipment and a choice of excursions.

Restaurants & bars

Dining revolves around Niko Romito and views over Piazza Augusto Imperatore, with room service throughout.

  • Il Ristorante — Niko Romito’s haute cuisine, with a large open terrace facing the piazza and the Mausoleum of Augustus
  • Il Caffè — morning coffee, Roman lunches and Sunday brunch on a leafy veranda
  • La Terrazza — rooftop lounge bar over Piazza Augusto Imperatore and central Rome, for sun by day and aperitivi at sunset
