General information
Borgo San Felice is a medieval Tuscan hamlet set among green hills, vineyards and olive groves, turned into a hotel in 1992. The old houses, lanes and central piazza remain, now home to comfortable rooms, a spa known for its wine therapy, restaurants and a poolside bar.
The estate has its own vineyards, wine cellars stocked with the finest Chianti, and a vegetable and medicinal herb garden. Two event rooms seat 30 and 120, weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged, and services include a concierge, laundry, parking, a helipad and Ferrari hire, with complimentary Wi-Fi.
Location
The hotel lies at the heart of the Chianti wine region, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, 20 km from Siena and about an hour’s drive from Florence.
Spa
The spa has a sauna, a steam room, a Kneipp bath, a gym, a relaxation area and four treatment rooms. Face and body treatments use Comfort Zone and Antologia by Dr. Gian Maria Amatori products, and wine therapy rituals are a signature.
Sports & leisure
The grounds have a heated outdoor pool, a fitness centre with modern equipment, two tennis courts and a bocce court. Yoga, cycling, hot-air balloon flights, wine tastings, Tuscan cookery classes and excursions across Tuscany are on offer.
Restaurants & bars
Dining on the estate draws on local produce and its own wine, and picnics, private dinners and in-room dining can be arranged.

The rooms and suites, among them five Premium Suites and six Signature Suites, recreate the feel of the medieval houses of a Tuscan village; two villas stand nearby among the olive groves.

La Legnaia Suite
A split-level suite in the former woodshed at the northern edge of the village: two bedrooms with king-size beds, two bathrooms (one with bath, one with shower) and a private garden with a pergola and panoramic views of the hills.
La Loggia Suite
A bedroom with a king-size bed and an in-room bathtub, a sitting area, a bathroom and a large veranda overlooking the village piazza and the Tuscan hills.
L’Uliveta Suite
A Signature Suite overlooking the olive groves, with a living room, two bedrooms with king-size beds and two bathrooms with bath and shower.
Le Erbe Suite
A Signature Suite with a living room, two bedrooms, two large bathrooms with bath and shower and a private loggia overlooking the vineyards.
La Pieve Suite
A Signature Suite with a king-size bed, a marble bathroom with walk-in shower, a private patio and a secluded alcove for relaxing that looks onto the olive groves and vineyards.
Grand Suite
Available on request: a two-bedroom suite joining the La Loggia Suite and a Premium Deluxe room, with separate entrances, a sitting room, a walk-in wardrobe, two bathrooms with shower and a terrace facing the vineyards and Siena.
Villa Colonna
A two-bedroom villa at the edge of the olive groves, ringed by cypresses, with a fully equipped kitchen, a private heated outdoor pool and parking; guests enjoy the hotel’s services.
Villa Casanova
A villa near Borgo San Felice with nine rooms, a private garden with pool and parking; guests have full use of the hotel’s services.
