General information
Belmond Villa Sant’Andrea occupies a villa built in 1919 by an aristocratic family. Set among lush subtropical gardens directly above Mazzarò Bay, it keeps the intimacy of a private residence, now matched by polished service. From almost everywhere — balconies, terraces, the pool, the restaurant — the view opens onto the bay and the Ionian Sea.
There are 67 rooms, restaurants and bars built around Sicilian food and wine, a spa and fitness centre, a private beach and an infinity pool. Meeting and event rooms, an outdoor terrace for celebrations, a boutique, car hire and a complimentary shuttle to central Taormina complete the picture; weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged.
Location
The hotel sits on its own beach in Mazzarò Bay, a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Taormina. Taormina-Giardini station is 5 km away, Catania international airport 60 km and Palermo airport 260 km.
Spa
The spa has a hammam, a sauna, a beauty salon, a relaxation area, treatment rooms including a couples’ suite, and pavilions in the garden. Face and body treatments use Comfort Zone products and natural local ingredients.
Sports & leisure
The heated infinity pool faces the sea. The fitness centre is equipped by Technogym and offers yoga. Water sports, yacht trips and excursions can be arranged, and an 18-hole golf course is half an hour’s drive away.
For children
The hotel is well set up for families, and from May to October the Smile club welcomes children aged 4–12.
