About this hotel
General information
Aman Rosa Alpina sits in the heart of San Cassiano, surrounded by the forested Dolomites, and offers a contemporary reading of a historic hotel. Behind a traditional Alpine facade are understated interiors by Jean-Michel Gathy, rooms looking onto mountains and forest, restaurants, bars and a cigar lounge.
A two-level spa with a heated outdoor infinity pool, a fitness centre with yoga studio, three cinemas, kids’ and teens’ clubs and a long list of activities make it as suited to the ski season as to the mountain summer. Concierge, ski butler, a shuttle to the lifts and village centre, and laundry are all on hand.
Location
The hotel is in the centre of San Cassiano in Alta Badia, around 1.5 hours by road from Bolzano, 2 hours from Innsbruck and 2.5 hours from Venice.
Spa
The 1,680 m² spa spreads over two levels, with a heated 20-metre outdoor pool looking over mountains and forest, an indoor pool with forest views, a hydromassage bath, cold plunge, steam room, Finnish sauna, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, a Zen garden and nine treatment rooms, two of them for medical treatments. The menu blends ancient Eastern traditions, modern Western techniques and natural Alpine ingredients.
Sports & leisure
Beyond the pools there is a gym with up-to-date equipment and a yoga studio, three 12-seat cinemas and a lounge with billiards and board games. Winter brings downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, sledging, skating and snowshoeing; summer, hiking, climbing, golf, mountain biking and paragliding. Helicopter flights and excursions can be arranged, and ski equipment and mountain bikes are available to hire.
For children
There are separate playrooms for children and teenagers, family programmes and babysitting on request.
