About this hotel
General information
The St. Regis Jakarta sets out to honour Indonesian culture in a contemporary key. Ivory tones and bronze detailing give it the feel of a private residence rather than a city hotel, and its rooms are furnished with pieces by local designers made for the house. The Great Hall is crowned by a ceiling installation that pays tribute to Indonesian culture and to the brand’s musical heritage; kinetic chandeliers drift above The Drawing Room, and a mural in The St. Regis Bar depicts Javanese spirituality, music and communal harmony.
There are 280 rooms and suites, and every guest is looked after around the clock by St. Regis butlers, from unpacking to the evening turndown. The house rituals are kept daily: afternoon tea to a solo pianist, an evening martini from a rolling bar cart and, at weekends, champagne opened with a sabre. Six restaurants and bars, a two-storey spa, a palm-fringed pool, ballrooms and Astor Court, an outdoor event space, complete the picture.
Location
The hotel stands in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, within the capital’s so-called Golden Triangle, close to the city’s three main business districts, SCBD, the embassies and the major shopping centres. Jakarta’s international airport is about 28 km away and the city’s second international airport 13 km; the hotel runs transfers to both.
Spa
The two-storey St. Regis Spa has six treatment rooms, two of them for couples, along with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, heated pool, beauty salon and a dedicated Silence Room. A visit begins at the Celebration Bar, a consultation space serving light bites and tea. The menu covers massages, body scrubs, facials and the signature treatments of the Caroline Astor Collection.
Sports & leisure
The 24-hour fitness centre, lit by floor-to-ceiling windows, has modern equipment, a body-composition scale and a multifunction studio for group classes and personal training with instructors. Outdoors there is a pool with a whirlpool and cabanas beneath the palms. The St. Regis butlers handle any request, and weekends bring the house rituals: brunch at Bel Étage with a midday champagne sabrage and the evening ceremony in The Drawing Room.
For children
Under the Family Traditions programme, young guests find themed bathrobes, play tents and toys waiting for them, and at weekends there are activities from colouring to film screenings. A separate children’s pool sits beside the main pool.
Restaurants & bars
Six restaurants and bars share the hotel, and in-room dining runs around the clock:
- Bel Étage — all-day international dining with buffet and à la carte menus, an antique oven and wines from the house vault; weekend brunch centres on seafood
- Solène — the cooking of southern France in Riviera-inspired rooms: seafood, seasonal produce and sun-led flavours
- The St. Regis Bar — New York-inspired signature cocktails, a wine vault, tasting and malt rooms, private dining areas and live jazz; each evening a complimentary martini is served from a bar cart
- The Drawing Room — afternoon tea, light dishes and canapés to a pianist, evenings under kinetic chandeliers and the champagne sabrage at weekends
- Rosé Gourmand Deli — a café, deli and grocer for coffee, teas, smoothies, craft beer and wine, cheeses, cold cuts, pastries and take-away dishes
- The Pool Bar — classic and signature cocktails all day beneath the palms by the pool
Swimming
The outdoor pool is ringed by palm trees and styled in a bohemian spirit with batik-inspired art, cooled by a gentle mist. Beside it are a children’s pool, a whirlpool, cabanas and The Pool Bar. The spa has a second, heated pool.
