General information
The villas of Jumeirah Bali occupy 12 hectares of tropical gardens on a hillside that slopes down to a white beach and the Indian Ocean. The resort recreates the royal Water Palace of the Majapahit empire’s golden age: Javanese-Balinese pavilions are set among gardens of exotic plants, pools, fountains, sculpture and carved-stone ruins.
The historical setting comes with every modern comfort — villas with private pools and ocean views, several restaurants, a spa, a kids’ club and a personal butler — while surfing, diving and the ancient temples of Uluwatu are close at hand. There is a function room, business services, concierge, laundry and parking; weddings and honeymoon programmes can be arranged.
Location
The resort sits by the beach on Bali’s south-west coast, within the Pecatu resort area of Uluwatu, 20 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Spa
The spa has several treatment rooms offering face and body rituals based on ancient Balinese tradition and a range of massage techniques. There is also a hammam, a steam room and a sauna.
Sports & leisure
Alongside the outdoor pool there is a modern gym, yoga and personal training. Water sports, surfing, diving and excursions are offered.
For children
The kids’ club keeps young guests busy with games, activities and a variety of programmes.
