General information
Hotel Petit Bois Füred is a small adults-only boutique hotel in Balatonfüred, set in an early 20th-century villa that looks onto Kiserdő, the town’s former English park. The house keeps its finest features: the ornate veranda, columned terrace balustrades, arches, finely drawn cornices, wrought-iron stair railings and a carefully kept garden. A later remodelling gave the villa the clean, symmetrical lines of an eclectic town residence.
A contemporary wing with planted terraces extends the original building, so the hotel pairs the spirit of turn-of-the-century resort Balatonfüred with present-day design. There are just eleven categories of rooms and suites, a rooftop bar with panoramic views and an intimate spa with a pool. Guests must be 14 or older.
Location
The hotel sits in the lively centre of Balatonfüred on the north shore of Lake Balaton, facing Kiserdő park, and many of the suites have lake views. Parking is free on the grounds and in the underground garage, which has an electric-car charging point; reception can arrange taxis, transfers and car hire.
Spa
Petit Bois Spa has a counter-current pool (26 °C), a jacuzzi (38 °C), a Finnish sauna (90 °C), a bio sauna (65 °C), an infrared sauna, a steam room, a relaxation area and an outdoor lounge. Body massages use organic red grape seed oil or organic hemp and olive oil, and facials use certified organic Phyt’s products. The menu covers a deep revitalising massage, a treatment built around foot reflexology, a body massage with abdominal work, lymphatic drainage, and combinations of these with a 30-minute facial.
Sports & leisure
Petit Bois Gym swaps conventional treadmills for Waterrower and NOHRD equipment — a rowing machine, the Sprintbok running machine, an indoor bike and a compact training wall — with a squat rack, dumbbells and a barbell wall for strength work. The spa pool is there for swimming. Presidential Suite guests have the use of the hotel’s Jeep for exploring the Balaton region; the garage has a charging area for e-bikes and scooters, and reception can arrange car hire.
Restaurants & bars
Dining centres on the Rooftop Bar, with panoramic views from the top of the house. Breakfast is served here each morning — fresh pastries with butter and jam, a hot or cold dish of choice, a hot and a cold drink and a glass of prosecco — and can also be brought to the room. Snacks follow at midday and main courses from mid-afternoon, while evenings turn to handcrafted cocktails, international wines and champagne. Room service runs during the bar’s opening hours.

Eleven categories range from the 25 m² Superior Room to the 162 m² Petit Bois Signature Suite: in the original villa, turn-of-the-century elegance meets modern detailing, while the suites of the contemporary wing are fully modern, with planted terraces. Every category has a 180 × 200 cm king-size bed.
Each room has air conditioning, a minibar whose contents are included in the rate, a safe, free Wi-Fi and wired internet, a TV with local and international channels, a telephone, bathrobes, slippers, bath toiletries, scales, writing materials and sewing and shoe-cleaning kits.

A top-floor suite in the original villa with a panoramic terrace over Lake Balaton, a fireplace in the living room, a quartzite table for eight, a wine cooler and a TV concealed behind a mirror; king-size bedroom with a double balcony, bathroom with bathtub, shower and lake view. The suite comes with use of the hotel’s Jeep.
Royal Piano Suite

Petit Bois Signature Suite
Three connecting suites in the contemporary wing facing a quiet street, each with its own living room, a bedroom with a 180 × 200 cm bed, a bathroom with shower and double basin and a private terrace; the central one has a round bathtub for two. Sleeps up to six.
