About this hotel
General information
Sani Asterias sits beside the picturesque harbour of the Sani resort, on its own white-sand beach above the Aegean. The sea is present everywhere: it fills the view from the balconies and terraces of the elegant rooms, the beachfront residences with private pools, the restaurants and the bar.
The hotel has a large heated pool and a spa offering signature treatments by the French brand Anne Semonin, while the wider Sani complex adds sports academies, an adventure park, walking trails and dozens of restaurants. Weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged on request, and a boutique, concierge and laundry service complete the picture. Sani Asterias is chosen by guests who value refinement and a sense of seclusion.
Location
The hotel lies on the western coast of Halkidiki, on the Kassandra peninsula, next to the Sani marina and its own private beach. Thessaloniki International Airport is about 50 minutes away by car.
Spa
The Spa Retreat has a steam room, a relaxation area and treatment rooms, including a couples’ spa suite. Treatments are built around the products of the French skincare house Anne Semonin.
Sports & leisure
A large heated outdoor pool and a fitness centre with modern equipment and a yoga studio. The Sani resort adds water sports, diving and boat trips, sports academies, an adventure park and walking routes, along with sports, entertainment and evening shows, and a choice of excursions.
For children
The resort runs a crèche for babies from 4 months to 4 years, a mini club for ages 4–12 and the Ozone teen club, as well as a sports academy and a rope adventure park. Learning programmes are tailored to different ages, and there are sports and entertainment activities for the whole family; restaurants offer children’s menus. Babysitting, including on the beach, can be arranged on request.
Restaurants & bars
The kitchen blends Mediterranean and French influences, and the Dine Around programme opens up 26 restaurants across the Sani resort.
- Water — à la carte restaurant with a Mediterranean-French menu and a wine list spanning Greece and the wider world
- Over Water — gastronomic restaurant with a terrace overlooking the marina, serving haute cuisine in the French tradition
- Water Bar — harbour-view terrace for cocktails, aperitifs and champagne to a jazz soundtrack
In-room dining is available.
Swimming
The hotel has its own equipped sandy beach, and guests can also use the 7 km of Blue Flag sandy beaches that run along the Sani resort.
