General information
Notos Therme & Spa is a small spa hotel on Santorini’s south coast, its white buildings set right beside the clear Aegean waters next to Vlychada beach. It is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Rooms pair contemporary design with maritime touches — stone and textile finishes, original décor and verandas facing the sea.
The heart of the hotel is its wellness centre, with a large indoor pool, thermal area and treatment rooms using seaweed, volcanic mud and natural oils. Beyond the spa there is a spacious freshwater outdoor pool, the Notos restaurant with local and international cooking, and a pool bar. It makes a quiet seaside base on Santorini.
Location
The hotel stands on the southern coast of Santorini, one of the Cyclades, next to Vlychada beach. Fira, the island’s capital, is 12 km away, the international airport 14 km and Athinios port 9 km.
Spa
The spa has a large indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and hydromassage showers, along with massage and treatment rooms. The menu covers a variety of massages, wraps, peels, reflexology and beauty programmes using Caribbean sea products, seaweed, volcanic mud and natural oils.
Sports & leisure
There is a spacious outdoor freshwater pool on the grounds, plus a large indoor pool in the spa.
Restaurants & bars
The Notos restaurant serves local and international dishes and a breakfast buffet, while the Notos pool bar offers a wide choice of drinks.
Swimming
The organised Vlychada beach is right next to the hotel.
