General information
Katikies Santorini is one of the best-known addresses in Oia: whitewashed Cycladic buildings cut into the caldera cliffs, run on a principle of complete discretion and meticulous service. Today the hotel is made up of two wings, each with its own character.
Pelagos House is the original Katikies, set in the heart of Oia, its infinity-pool terraces suspended over the drop and the village boutiques and famous sunset viewpoints a few steps away. Gea House sits on the quieter edge of the village with a wide, open view of the caldera and the volcano, and is where the spa and fitness studio are found. The hotel welcomes guests aged 13 and over, and its own lifestyle concierge, Katikies Club, shapes experiences on the island.
Location
The hotel stands in Oia, at the start of the main pedestrian street, 10 m from the square of St George’s church on the caldera side, with the village’s shops and restaurants within walking distance. Guests arrive via Santorini airport or Athinios port, and Katikies Club arranges private transfers for up to four people. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes by car; free parking is a minute’s walk away.
Spa
Katikies Spa at Gea House has treatment suites and a cave pool, while Pelagos House keeps its own Katikies Spa Suite, a cave with a private steam bath, jetted tub and twin massage beds. The menu of massages, facials and hot-stone rituals was created for Katikies with Ligne St Barth, whose products are used throughout.
Sports & leisure
There are three infinity pools, a sun deck with an open-air jetted tub, an indoor jetted tub, a small library with internet access and a Technogym-equipped fitness studio at Gea House. The Katikies Club concierge arranges private boat trips, island tours and themed wine tastings; the hotel also has a Luisa World fashion boutique and a wedding-planning service.

The hotel is geared to adults: children under 13 are not accepted.

One restaurant and three lounges cover the day from breakfast to late evening.

Swimming
Swimming is in three infinity pools on the caldera cliffs: the main pool is heated and the other two are fresh water. Several suites have a private pool or plunge pool, and the veranda jetted tubs are heated to about 23 °C. The nearest beach is roughly 10 minutes’ drive away.

Small pets up to 5 kg are allowed.

Suites in both wings are decorated in white and soft blue in a contemporary Cycladic style; each has a private veranda facing the caldera, and the higher categories add a jetted tub or a private pool.
