General information
Ikos Oceania steps down a green hillside like an amphitheatre towards a broad golden beach and the clear Aegean, among fragrant pines, olive groves and slender cypresses. Its architecture and interiors marry local tradition with a contemporary style, and the balconies of its rooms and suites open onto the sea horizon.
The resort is made for family, active and romantic holidays alike: several pools, including a lagoon pool and an indoor pool, a spa, three clubs for children and teenagers, water sports and diving, tennis and squash, Greek lessons, sirtaki and cookery classes, daily shows and a nightclub. On site are restaurants of several cuisines, meeting rooms, a theatre and cinema, the Ouranos library-lounge with fireplace, a jewellery boutique and a doctor, and a shuttle runs to the centre of Nea Moudania.
Location
The hotel stands on the western coast of Halkidiki, a 10-minute walk from the centre of the small town of Nea Moudania. Thessaloniki International Airport is 65 km away, around 40 minutes by car.
Spa
Spa treatments for women and men were created by the French skincare house Anne Semonin. The centre has seven treatment rooms, a heated indoor pool and hot tub looking out to the Aegean and the peak of Mount Olympus, a Technogym gym, a relaxation area, a thermal suite with hammam and sauna, a hair salon, a nail salon and a beauty boutique. The spa, gym and sauna are open to guests aged 16 and over, the indoor pool to those aged 12 and over; younger children may use it in the mornings during the low season and in poor weather.
Sports & leisure
The hotel’s signature is its infinity pool, which seems to merge with the Aegean. There is also a heated freshwater lagoon pool (900 m²), an adults-only infinity pool (300 m²), an indoor pool in the spa (120 m²) and separate pools for Deluxe Collection guests. Cushioned loungers, parasols and towels are complimentary, and lifeguards are on duty.

For children
Children have a 200 m² pool, a toddlers’ pool no deeper than 20 cm, a playroom and a playground. Three clubs cater to different ages: Heros Creche for babies from 4 months to 3 years, Heros for ages 4–11 and Just4Teens for ages 12–17. Restaurants offer children’s menus, and babysitting is available on request.

Swimming
The 350 m private sandy beach is awarded the EU Blue Flag every year for the clarity of its water. Cushioned loungers, parasols and towels are complimentary, towel kiosks are open all day, changing cabins are provided and qualified lifeguards are on duty.

Pets are not accepted.

There are 290 rooms and suites in a Mediterranean style with a Greek accent. Shades of blue dominate the décor, echoing the sea and sky seen from the balconies and terraces.
