General information
Grand Resort Lagonissi occupies an entire peninsula on the Athens Riviera, wrapped by the Aegean. Villas, bungalows and pools sit among lush gardens and lawns, and the range of accommodation is unusually wide — from sea-view rooms in the main building to waterfront villas with their own heated pools. The resort is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Nine restaurants and bars, a THALASPA Chenot spa and a fitness club are spread across the grounds. For events there is a conference centre with the 2,000 m² Grand Hall, the Cosmos ballroom for up to 1,600 guests and fifteen further rooms, while a chapel on site hosts weddings and christenings. Electric carts move guests around the peninsula, and there is a helipad, a medical clinic, covered and open-air parking, plus yacht and limousine services.
Location
The resort sits on a peninsula in Attica, about 40 km (45 minutes) from central Athens and the Acropolis. Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos and the Glyfada shopping district are each 22 km away, roughly 15 minutes by car.
Spa
THALASPA Chenot follows Henri Chenot’s holistic approach and uses Henri Chenot products made from clean, natural ingredients. The menu covers a range of massages (also available in-room), therapeutic and relaxing baths, wraps, and face and body treatments. Relaxation rooms, steam rooms, a beauty salon and a well-equipped fitness centre complete the facilities.
Sports & leisure
There are two heated pools: a seawater pool and an Olympic-size pool beside Grand Beach. Two floodlit tennis courts, volleyball, basketball and five-a-side football pitches, and a water sports centre offering windsurfing and waterskiing keep active guests busy, with a Scuba diving centre and equipment hire on request. PGA-accredited golf courses lie 15 minutes’ drive away. The resort can also arrange yacht charters, helicopter flights and private jets.
For children
Restaurants offer children’s menus, and babysitting can be arranged on request.

Nine restaurants and bars are scattered across the peninsula, from the beach to the clifftops:
- Aphrodite — main restaurant with sea views: breakfast buffet, international lunch and dinner
- Ouzeri Aegeon — Greek cooking, fresh fish and seafood on the south-western shore
- Captain’s House — Italian à la carte on a cliff, with a terrace by the water
- Galazia Akti — contemporary Greek cuisine on a wooden veranda above the sea
- Kohylia Restaurant & Sushi Bar — Polynesian dishes and sushi in an Asian-inspired room with a large aquarium and panoramic windows
- La Piscina — poolside restaurant and bar: light bites, Mexican dishes, fresh juices
- Mediterraneo — light, health-conscious dishes and drinks on the beach
- The Veranda Bar — cocktails and light snacks at sunset
- Veghera — club-style bar and restaurant serving international cuisine at the southern tip of the peninsula
Swimming
Grand Beach, on the eastern side of the peninsula, is a white-sand beach with loungers, parasols and a newspaper kiosk. A number of bungalows and villas open directly onto the shore.
Rooms
Rooms, suites, bungalows, cabanas and villas are set in the main building and along the shoreline, grouped into several clubs. Interiors are contemporary and warm-toned, with balconies or terraces facing the sea or the gardens.
Air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone with voicemail, internet access, video on request, safe, minibar, and a bathroom with bath and shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers.

Ground-floor room in the main building with a marble bathroom and a wooden terrace opening onto a shared hydromassage pool with sea views. Sleeps two adults.
Superior Suites Sea View
A spacious bedroom, living room with sofa bed, marble bathroom with a small TV, and a sea-facing balcony or terrace. Sleeps two adults and two children or three adults.
Vista Suite
Corner suite in the main building with a bedroom, living room, marble bathroom and furnished balcony looking over the peninsula and the sea. Sleeps three adults or two adults and a child.
Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow
Open-plan bedroom and living area, a spacious bathroom and a private garden leading to the beach. Sleeps two adults and a child or three adults.
Mediterranean Bungalow
Shoreline bungalow on the western side of the peninsula with an open-plan layout, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower, and a furnished timber terrace. Sleeps two adults and a child or three adults.
Junior Suite
South-western suite with a bedroom and built-in wardrobe, open-plan living room and a private garden with beach access. Sleeps two.
Executive Suite
A spacious bedroom with wardrobe, living room, bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower, furnished terrace and garden leading to the beach, on the eastern or western shore. Sleeps three adults or two adults and a child.
Premium Suite
Recently renovated waterfront suite with an open-plan bedroom and sitting area, a marble bathroom with a separate glass-enclosed shower or steam bath and an air bathtub, and a terrace. Sleeps two.
Mediterranean Suite
Waterside suite on the western shore with an open bedroom and lounge, a workout area with massage table, a furnished sea-view terrace and a private garden. Sleeps two adults.
Island Suite
Bedroom with wardrobe, living room, workout area and a furnished terrace with garden and sea views. Sleeps three adults or two adults and a child.
Penthouse Suite
Top-floor suite with a bedroom, living room, bathroom with whirlpool bath and steam room, and a terrace with panoramic sea views. Sleeps two adults and a child.
Deluxe Bungalow Sharing Pool
Western-shore bungalow with open-plan bedroom and lounge, marble bathroom with separate shower and a workout area; the terrace opens onto a pool shared by two or three bungalows. Sleeps two adults and a child or three adults.
Residential Cabana with Pool (complex of 2 bedrooms)
Two 60 m² bungalows, each with an open-plan layout, workout area and sea-view terrace, set around a shared heated pool; they can be joined as a two-bedroom cottage. Each sleeps two adults and a child or three adults.
Grand Residential Cabanas with Heated Pool (complex of 3 bedrooms)
Three 60 m² shoreline bungalows on the western side, each with a sea-view terrace, around a shared pool; the whole complex can be booked as a 180 m² three-bedroom residence. Each bungalow sleeps two adults and a child or three adults.
Junior Suites with Private Pool
South-western suite with a bedroom, wardrobe and open living area, and a furnished terrace with a private pool (heated on request) and sea views. Sleeps two adults.
Executive Suite with Private Pool
Eastern-shore suite with a bedroom and wardrobe, living room and a terrace with its own heated pool and sea views. Sleeps three adults or two adults and a child.
Sunset Suites with Private Pool

Penthouse Grand Suite
Top-floor penthouse with a bedroom, living room, workout area and sea-view terrace. Sleeps two adults and a child.
Belvedere Suite with Private Pool
Eastern-shore suite: bedroom with wardrobe, open lounge with dining area, private sports corner and a terrace with garden and heated hydromassage pool. Sleeps two adults.
The Ambassador Suite
North-eastern suite with a living room and fireplace, private workout area, marble bathroom and a terrace with its own heated pool. Sleeps three adults or two adults and a child.
The Peninsula Villa
Eastern-shore villa with two bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms and a veranda with garden and heated pool overlooking the sea. Sleeps four.
The Grand Villa
A king-bedded master and a twin bedroom, living room, two bathrooms, butler’s quarters and a terrace with heated pool and direct beach access. Sleeps five.
Residence Villa with Private Pool
Waterfront villa on the eastern shore with three bedrooms, living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, three bathrooms and a veranda with heated pool. Sleeps six.
Governor Villa with Private Pool
Two bedrooms with wardrobes, a spacious living room, workout area and a terrace with heated pool and a large sea-view garden. Sleeps four adults or two adults and two children.
