General information
Paragraph Resort & Spa Shekvetili, Autograph Collection sits on the Black Sea shore at Shekvetili, in Guria, held between a quiet pine forest and the beach. Part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, it is built as much for couples as for families: rooms and suites open onto private balconies or patios facing the sea, the forest or the mountains, and pools, gardens and terraces fill the grounds in between.
The resort’s signatures are an outdoor seawater pool that reaches out over the sea, a winter garden with an indoor waterfall, an indoor water park with a slide and the Big Blue Aquarium, a 430 m² walk-through space whose panoramic tunnel passes hundreds of fish and other marine species. A spa, tennis courts, a kids’ club, a choice of restaurants and bars and a ballroom for up to 472 guests, used for weddings, celebrations and business events, complete the picture.
Location
The resort lies on Shekvetili beach beside the E70 highway, on the Black Sea coast of Guria. Batumi airport is about 49 km away, Kutaisi airport about 83 km and Tbilisi International Airport 348 km. The hotel arranges car transfers from Batumi and Kutaisi airports on advance reservation and offers a private car with driver, limousine or van service; parking and valet parking are complimentary. Batumi’s old town and botanical garden and Mtirala National Park are among the places within reach.
Spa
The Paragraph Resort & Spa is open daily from 7am to 11pm, by appointment. Facilities include a heated indoor pool, a plunge pool and a steam room. The menu covers massages, including couples’ and in-suite massages, Ayurvedic treatments, facials and eye treatments, body scrubs and wraps, scalp and hair treatments, manicures, pedicures, waxing and a dedicated range for men.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre is open around the clock, with cardio and strength machines, free weights, locker rooms, saunas and steam rooms, plus fitness classes and one-to-one guidance. The grounds also hold tennis courts, table tennis and a games room, and bicycles are lent free of charge. Guests can go snorkelling off the beach or take the slide in the indoor water park, and the Big Blue Aquarium, with its 360-degree tunnel and hundreds of marine species, is a sight in its own right.
For children
The kids’ club opens daily from 9am to 6pm and is complimentary. It is stocked with wooden eco-friendly toys, board games and books; entertainers run story time and educational games, there are high-tech toys for young gamers and a Sky Net trampoline. Parents can join in or leave children in the care of the club’s staff, and babysitting is available on request. Children also have their own pool beside the main outdoor pool and the water slide.

Restaurants and bars are spread across the resort, and in-room dining runs around the clock.

Swimming
The resort opens directly onto the Black Sea beach at Shekvetili. The main outdoor pool is heated, filled with seawater and extends out over the sea, with a children’s pool alongside and a swim-up bar. The pools are open daily from 7am to 11pm, with towels provided. There is also a heated indoor pool in the spa and an indoor water park with a slide.
Pets
Dogs weighing up to 5 kg are welcome, one per room, for a nightly fee.
Rooms
Rooms and suites from 42 to 200 m² come with balconies or patios looking out to the sea, the forest or the mountains; the line-up runs from Standard and Deluxe Rooms and the Sunset Room to a Junior Suite, a two-bedroom Family Suite and two large suites, the Piano Suite and the Panoramic Suite.
Each room has individually controlled air conditioning, a bed with a pillowtop mattress, featherbed and duvet, a bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, a lighted make-up mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, a safe, a desk, an iron, a mini fridge, a kettle and coffee maker, complimentary bottled water, satellite TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service.

Family Suite
Two-bedroom suite (a king-size bed and two single beds) with a living room, sofa bed, two bathrooms, sea view and balcony; for up to five guests.
Piano Suite
One-bedroom suite (king-size bed) with living and dining rooms, a kitchen, study and meeting room, walk-in wardrobe, baby grand piano, a whirlpool bath for four, floor-to-ceiling windows and a sea-view patio; for up to three guests.
Panoramic Suite
Two-bedroom suite, each bedroom with a king-size bed, plus a sofa bed, living and dining rooms, a kitchen, study and meeting room, two bathrooms, a whirlpool bath for four, a balcony and a veranda facing the sea; for up to four guests.
