About this hotel
General information
The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort sits on Motu Ome'e, a small reef islet on the edge of the Bora Bora lagoon, with Mount Otemanu rising across the water. The 17-hectare resort is made up entirely of villas: some stand on stilts along wooden walkways over the lagoon, others are tucked among palms on the beach and in the gardens. Even the smallest overwater villa measures 144 m², and glass panels set into the floor show the fish passing below.
The resort is defined by St. Regis Butler Service around the clock, a spa on its own islet and a private Lagoonarium, a protected stretch of lagoon full of coral and tropical fish that guests reach straight from the walkways. Four restaurants, including the overwater Lagoon, and two bars range across Italian and pan-Asian cooking, Polynesian dishes and a weekly evening with a Polynesian show. Bicycles are the easy way to get around the grounds. Set apart is the Royal Estate, a 1,200 m² compound behind coral walls with its own beach.
Location
The resort lies on Motu Ome'e in the Bora Bora lagoon, looking towards Mount Otemanu, about 14.5 km from Bora Bora airport on Motu Mute. The journey starts at Faa'a International Airport on Tahiti, the only international airport in French Polynesia, with direct routes from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Japan; an Air Tahiti flight continues to Bora Bora. A resort greeter waits at the St. Regis desk at the airport, and a 20-minute boat ride completes the trip. The resort's base on the main island is about 10 minutes away by boat, and a complimentary shuttle runs once a day to the village of Vaitape, except on Sundays and public holidays.
Spa
The St. Regis Spa occupies its own islet, with a beach facing Mount Otemanu, next to the Lagoonarium. It has five indoor treatment rooms, an outdoor pavilion, a balneotherapy room, a jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna, separate men's and women's lounges, a relaxation lounge overlooking the lagoon, a beauty salon and a boutique; couples' suites come with their own whirlpool and steam room. Treatments blend Polynesian traditions with Sothys plant-based skincare: the signature Taurumi massage uses monoï oil and long forearm strokes, guests pick their fragrance at a scent bar, and at sunset candlelit massages are given in a gazebo on the beach. Kundalini yoga, crystal singing bowl meditation and breathwork classes also take place on the spa beach.

For children
Families are looked after through the St. Regis Family Traditions programme: children receive welcome treats, their own robes, slippers and step stools, and the team arranges activities, snorkelling and childcare. The concierge keeps a list of qualified babysitters for in-villa care, cribs are available, every restaurant has menus for all ages and the spa offers treatments for children. The Main Pool and the beach are open to all ages, while the Oasis pool is for adults only. The Overwater Deluxe, Overwater Deluxe Otemanu, Overwater Premier Otemanu, Beachside and Reef side villas sleep two adults with two children under 12.

Swimming
The resort has two beaches, a Main Pool with a swim-up bar open to all ages and the adults-only Oasis pool with private cabanas. The private Lagoonarium, a sheltered corner of the lagoon with coral and tropical fish including Napoleon wrasse, is entered from several pontoons, and snorkelling gear is free. Many overwater villas have steps straight into the lagoon; both Overwater Royal villas, the Reef side villas, the Beachside Villa and the Royal Estate have private pools, and the Overwater Premier Otemanu has a whirlpool on its deck.
Pets
Pets are not allowed; service animals are welcome.
