About this hotel
General information
Shangri-La Hotel, Paris occupies an 1896 mansion built for Prince Roland Bonaparte, grand-nephew of Napoleon. It faces the Eiffel Tower from beside the Palais de Chaillot; its state rooms are listed as French historic monuments, and the garden was designed by landscape architect Louis Benech. Interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon balance the building’s heritage with contemporary design.
Most rooms and suites have balconies or terraces looking towards the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, Les Invalides, the Louvre or Montmartre. The hotel has restaurants overseen by chef Philippe Labbé, an Empire-style bar, one of the largest indoor pools in Paris, four historic reception rooms totalling 850 m², a business centre, butler and concierge service and a limousine service. Weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged.

The hotel is on Avenue d’Iéna in the 16th arrondissement, opposite the Eiffel Tower and next to the Palais de Chaillot, a few minutes’ walk from Iéna metro station. Orly Airport is about 30 minutes away by car, Charles de Gaulle about 45 minutes.
