General information
Opened in 2011, Mandarin Oriental, Paris sits on rue Saint-Honoré among the couture houses, a short walk from the Louvre. Its façade blends quietly into the historic streetscape, while inside a couture-inspired design pairs Parisian polish with a light touch of the Orient.
Rooms are equipped with the latest technology, and duplex suites look out over the city centre. There is a spa with a striking pool, a haute cuisine restaurant led by two-Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx, a romantic bar and a camellia garden. Four meeting rooms for up to 80 guests, a business centre, parking, a limousine service, concierge and laundry are on hand, and the hotel arranges weddings and honeymoon programmes.
Location
The hotel stands on rue Saint-Honoré in central Paris, close to Place Vendôme, the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay. Both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports are about 45 minutes away by car.
Spa
The spa has a 15-metre indoor pool with a waterfall, an Oriental herbal steam room, a gym, a relaxation area and a boutique. Treatments take place in four suites with steam and hydromassage showers and three couples’ suites with steam cabins and spa baths for two. The menu draws on Eastern traditions such as the Chinese Tian Quan bath and holistic therapy, using natural Mandarin Oriental Signature Products.
Sports & leisure
Exercise centres on the spa’s gym and its 15-metre indoor pool with a waterfall.
For children
Families are welcome: the restaurants offer children’s menus, and babysitting can be arranged on request.

There are 138 rooms: 99 guest rooms and 39 suites. Contemporary French design is layered with Oriental detail, and windows face rue Saint-Honoré, the garden or the inner courtyard.
Rooms have air conditioning, a Bang & Olufsen LCD TV, a multi-line telephone with voicemail, internet access, an iPod dock, a PlayStation 3, a Blu-ray/DVD player on request, a safe, a minibar, a Nespresso machine and a hairdryer.
Superior Room
A bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom, looking onto rue Saint-Honoré. Sleeps two.
Deluxe Room
A king-size or twin bedroom with a bathroom, overlooking rue Saint-Honoré or the garden; some have a balcony. Sleeps two.
Mandarin Room
A king-size bedroom with a sitting area and a large bathroom with a freestanding tub, facing the garden or courtyard; most have a balcony. Sleeps two.
Mandarin Terrace Room
An upper-floor room hung with Man Ray photographs and hand-embroidered velvet, with a king-size bed, a sitting area and a planted, furnished terrace above the camellia garden. Sleeps two.
Junior Suite
A king-size bedroom, a sitting room behind sliding doors and a bathroom with a round tub and separate shower, overlooking the garden. Sleeps three.
Deluxe Suite
Silk fabrics and Oriental accents frame a king-size bedroom, a living area, a dressing room, a bathroom with a freestanding tub, two powder rooms and a balcony over rue Saint-Honoré or the garden. Sleeps three.
Duplex Suite
A two-level suite with works by photographer Ali Mahdavi: an entrance hall and living room facing northern Paris below, and a king-size bedroom with views of the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, a dressing room and bathroom above. Sleeps three.
Terrace Suite
A silk-dressed suite with Oriental touches: a king-size bedroom, a living room, a mosaic bathroom with a freestanding tub, a dressing room, two powder rooms and a dining terrace over the camellia garden. Sleeps three.
Couture Suite
A suite styled after the Paris couturiers, with a king-size bedroom, a large living and dining room with a balcony over rue Saint-Honoré, a bathroom with a tub and steam shower, a dressing room and two powder rooms. Sleeps three.
Panoramic Suite
An Art Deco duplex on the top floor facing the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and other landmarks: an entrance, living and dining room and powder room below, a king-size bedroom, dressing room and bathroom above. Sleeps three.
Oriental Penthouse Suite
A split-level suite with a salon and bar, a dining area for eight, a king-size bedroom with a fitness area, a second terrace and a marble bathroom with a steam shower, crowned by a large rooftop terrace looking from the Opéra Garnier to Montmartre. Connects to the two Panoramic Suites.
Mandarin Penthouse Suite
A split-level suite in Art Deco spirit at the top of the hotel, with a terrace facing the Eiffel Tower, a salon, bar, dining room for eight, kitchen, study and private gym, and a king-size bedroom whose bathroom has a steam room, walk-in shower and large bath. Sleeps two, or four when connected to the adjoining Panoramic Suite.
Mandarin Penthouse Floor
A three-bedroom penthouse joining the Mandarin Penthouse Suite with two Panoramic Suites: a salon, dining room for eight, bar, kitchen, study and private gym, three bedrooms with dressing areas and white-marble bathrooms with steam rooms, plus two terraces and a balcony with Eiffel Tower views.
