General information
Opened in 2021 in a picturesque corner of Courchevel 1850, beside the Bellecôte slopes, Lys Martagon is a small chalet hotel where original contemporary design meets the grace of Art Deco: Sicis glass mosaics from Italy, paintings by the Impressionist Armand Guillaumin and pieces by the jeweller René Lalique.
There are just seven suites, each individually decorated, with balconies and mountain views. Guests have a gastronomic restaurant with a wine cellar, a 1920s-style bar, a spa with pool and steam rooms, a gym and a children’s room, plus an outdoor terrace, business services, parking, a 24-hour concierge and laundry. The mood mixes past and present, polish and the ease of a private home.
Location
The hotel is in the centre of Courchevel 1850, at the heart of the Bellecôte area, 10 minutes by car from the altiport for light aircraft.
Spa
The spa has an indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, steam room, ice fountain, rain shower, a relaxation area with tea bar and two treatment rooms for massages and face and body care.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre has modern equipment and a yoga and Pilates studio. The hotel arranges winter sports and excursions and rents skis and equipment.
For children
Children have a playroom and a home cinema.
Restaurants & bars
Le Lys, with panoramic views of the slopes, serves gastronomic cooking with an extensive wine list and tastings from the hotel’s own cellar. The Prohibition bar recalls the 1920s. In-room dining is available.
Skiing
The hotel is close to the lifts of the Bellecôte ski area and has a ski room.
Rooms
The four Deluxe Rooms, two Junior Suites and the Prestige Suite combine Art Deco elegance, contemporary design and a high level of comfort, and every balcony or terrace looks out over the Alpine slopes and Courchevel.
Rooms and suites have a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, an iPad, safe, minibar and Nespresso machine, with a bath, hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom.

A queen-size suite with a terrace overlooking the garden and mountains, and two bathrooms, each with a bath and shower.
Prestige Suite
A suite under high attic ceilings with a king-size bedroom and fireplace, a lounge area, dressing room, a bathroom with rain shower and two WCs.
