General information
Les Barmes de l’Ours is a cluster of traditional chalets with carved balconies and wooden façades at the foot of the Olympic Bellevarde run, set against a small pine wood. The hotel sits in the Espace Killy ski area, a few minutes’ walk from the lively centre of Val d’Isère. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, the landscape lends itself to rock climbing and Nordic walking.
Rooms are decorated in several styles — North American, Alpine, Scandinavian and contemporary French — so each has a character of its own. The hotel has three restaurants, a fireside bar and a 1,000 m² spa with an indoor pool.
Location
The hotel is a few steps from the centre of Val d’Isère, about three hours by road from Lyon and Geneva.
Spa
The 1,000 m² spa has an indoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, a hammam, massage rooms, a hair salon and a gym. Treatments include balneotherapy, therapeutic baths and a range of massages.
Sports & leisure
The surroundings suit skiing and snowboarding, rock climbing and Nordic walking. The Killy Sport shop supplies professional ski and snowboard equipment.

The hotel stands at the foot of the Olympic Bellevarde run in the Espace Killy ski area and has a ski storage room.

Prestige Suite
An upper-floor suite with panoramic views of the resort and mountains: a king-size bedroom, a sitting area with sofa, a large bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a balcony. Sleeps two.
Family Suite
A king-size bedroom for parents, a children’s room with bunk beds and a single bed, two bathrooms, a sitting area and a balcony with mountain views. Sleeps two adults and three children.
"Ourson" Bear Cub Suite
A family suite with exceptional views of Val d’Isère: a parents’ bedroom with whirlpool bath, a children’s room with an alcove bunk bed, a living room and a balcony. Sleeps two adults and three children.
"Ours" Bear Suite
A top-floor suite with panoramic windows and wooden beams: a king-size bedroom, a living room with bar and fireplace, a bathroom with jacuzzi, a private sauna and hammam, and a balcony. Sleeps two.
