About this hotel
General information
Le Kaila sits in the centre of Méribel in the guise of a traditional Alpine chalet, balancing luxury with an almost family-home warmth. Rooms have balconies overlooking the slopes, and a private lift takes guests straight down to the pistes.
There are three restaurants, one serving signature dishes by Michelin-starred chef Laurent Azoulay, an elegant bar with a cigar room, and a Nuxe Spa built around a panoramic pool. Guests also have the L’Eskale ski boutique, a garage, a resort shuttle, a concierge and laundry service.
Location
The hotel is in the centre of Méribel, 250 m from the shops and close to the lifts. Moûtiers–Salins-les-Thermes railway station is 18 km away and Chambéry airport 95 km.
Spa
The Nuxe Spa has an indoor panoramic pool with a counter-current, waterfall, massage seats, an aqua path and two geysers, plus a jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, ice fountain, gym, a relaxation area with bar and six treatment rooms, three of them couples’ suites. Treatments use natural products and leading cosmetic brands.
Sports & leisure
The gym is equipped with Life Fitness machines, and the spa’s indoor panoramic pool has a counter-current and massage jets. Skis and equipment can be rented at the hotel.
Restaurants & bars
Three restaurants and a bar cover everything from a gastronomic dinner to lunch on the slopes.

Skiing
A lift is next to the hotel, and a private lift runs directly to the pistes. Skis and equipment can be rented from the L’Eskale ski boutique.
Rooms
The 39 rooms and suites are finished in natural wood, blending contemporary design with Alpine comfort, and their balconies look out over Méribel’s mountain scenery.
Rooms have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a Bose SoundDock, an air humidifier, a Nespresso machine, a bathtub, a hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes, with a PS4 console in the suites.
Elegance Room
An east-facing room with a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub and a wheelchair-accessible shower. Sleeps two.
Signature Room
A room with a small sitting area, a bathroom with a bathtub and a balcony facing the mountains to the west; some connect to a Privilege Room or Prestige Junior Suite. Sleeps two.
Cocoon Room
A snug room without a view, with a reading corner with two armchairs, a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower. Sleeps two.
Privilege Room
A bright room with a sitting area, a west- or east-facing balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower; connects to Signature Rooms and Prestige Junior Suites. Sleeps three.
Alpine Junior Suite
An upper-floor junior suite with an open living area and a real fireplace, a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with a whirlpool bath and shower and a balcony facing the mountains to the west. Sleeps two.
Prestige Junior Suite
A junior suite with an open living area with a sofa and armchairs, a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with a bath and separate shower and a balcony; connects to Signature and Privilege Rooms. Sleeps two.
Charm Junior Suite
A spacious upper-floor junior suite with a sitting area, a walk-in wardrobe, a daylit bathroom with a double whirlpool bath and a balcony overlooking the valley. Sleeps two.
Flocon Suite
A family suite with a bedroom and open sitting area, a walk-in wardrobe, a small separate children’s room with a single bed, a bathroom with bath and shower and a balcony. Sleeps three.
Saulire Suite
A two-bedroom suite with a living room and a table for four, a master bathroom with a whirlpool bath, a second bedroom with a reading nook and freestanding bath, and a balcony facing the western slopes. Sleeps four.
Exception Suite
A top-floor suite with a living room with sofas, a wood stove and a dining table, a bedroom with a daylit bathroom, double whirlpool bath and steam shower, and two balconies facing east and west. Sleeps two.
Loze Suite
A two-bedroom suite arranged around a living area with a table for four, a master bathroom with a steam shower and bath, and a terrace without a view. Sleeps four.
Tougnète Suite
A two-bedroom suite with a separate living room and a table for four, two bathrooms, one with a steam shower, and a balcony facing the western slopes. Sleeps five.
Neiges Suite
An upper-floor duplex: downstairs a living room with a fireplace and a large dining table, upstairs a master bedroom with a steam shower and a children’s room with two single beds and its own bathroom. Two adults and two children.
Le Kaïla Suite
A top-floor two-bedroom suite with a living room with a fireplace, bar and dining area, a master bathroom with a double whirlpool bath and steam shower, and a balcony with views east and west. Sleeps four.
Ekrin Suite
A three-bedroom family suite with a living room with a fireplace, a dining table for six, a study, three bathrooms and balconies facing the western slopes. Sleeps six.
Authentik Duplex
An upper-floor duplex: downstairs a living room with a fireplace and a family suite with a children’s room, upstairs a master bedroom with a steam shower and a second children’s room. Five adults and two children.
Le Kaïla Duplex
A top-floor duplex: two bedrooms and a living room with a fireplace and bar below, and above a master suite with exposed beams, a wood stove and a double whirlpool bath. Sleeps six.
Le Kaïla Penthouse
Exclusive use of the hotel’s top floor: Le Kaïla Duplex plus two connecting Alpine Junior Suites with fireplaces, five bedrooms in all. Sleeps ten.
