About this hotel
General information
Le Bristol opened in 1925 on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the quarter of haute couture and art galleries. The building recalls an 18th-century palace in the French classical style, and the hotel takes its name from Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol — an 18th-century traveller and geographer known for his love of comfort.
The hotel holds its own collection of furniture, tapestries and old-master paintings, many pieces once belonging to the Louvre and acquired at auction before the Second World War. No two rooms share the same furnishings or colours — part of the owners’ pursuit of a home-like warmth known here as the “Bristol spirit”. There are several banqueting rooms and a business centre, along with florists, a hair salon, laundry, underground parking and dedicated programmes for newlyweds.
Location
The hotel is on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, close to the Élysée Palace, the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde and Avenue Montaigne. The business district is 15 minutes away, and Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports roughly 35 minutes by car.
Spa
The spa works with La Prairie and offers a signature menu of specialist skincare, massages and complete face and body programmes, along with a beauty salon.
Sports & leisure
An indoor rooftop pool looks out across Paris, and there is a fitness centre with modern equipment.
For children
Young guests have a playground, and babysitting can be arranged on request.

Most rooms overlook the garden, and all share a sense of space, light and sunny colour. Silks, velvets and velours are chosen so that no pattern is repeated from room to room, while antique furniture, crystal chandeliers, old engravings and Oriental rugs complete the interiors.
